In the words of Lord Eddard Stark... The PokeMMO Super League Season VI (6) is coming. 
 
After a brief chat with the old goats Gunthug and Orange, it was apparent we needed someone young and fresh to lead us into a new season. 
Fortunately, that's where I come in, so thank you boys for giving me the opportunity to build upon this glorious event. 
 
Also, special shout out to ThinkNice for stealing this idea from Smogon and gifting it to the PokeMMO community. 
 
So, what is PSL? It’s a 9 week competition between teams of competitors across a variety of tiers, from PokeMMO OU to VGC 16 and everything in between. This season, we’ll have 8 managers with roughly 10-12 players per team (depending on sign-ups).
 
In a month or so I’ll put out a Manager Signups thread – anyone can apply, but I will be choosing managers who are dedicated and have shown that in the community. I'll likely ask Orange and Gunthug for some assistance in selection, if they are so gracious as to help me out. The top four managers from PSL V will be offered a chance to return in Season 6, although, as the new host Team Mountain will not be returning. This means there will be a minimum of five new teams joining the fold, if the Raging Lions, The Road Ninjas, and the Hellacious Houndooms decide on all returning. 
 
Next, I’ll put out the player sign-ups thread, where you’ll post your IGN, your timezone, and what tiers you can play.
 
During the season, players will compete in one match per week, and they’ll have to communicate with their opponent to schedule when that match will take place.
While it’s nice for those with a busy schedule, it is imperative that you schedule and play your matches – don’t let your team down by failing to contact your opponent or being lazy and missing your match!
 
Playoffs:
After the regular season, the top 4 teams in the standings will compete in the 2-week playoffs, with huge prizes for the winners.

Of course this is all subject to change depending on when things kick off.
 
There will be a few additional changes to PSL VI, most notably changes to player rewards, midseason auction, and credits. These will discussed below.
I will also be moving the Salty Suite matches to the end of Week 8, where there will be a one week break between the season and the playoffs. 
This week long break will also include an OU tournament between the 8 managers for them to prove their dominance and get a piece of the action.

Magneton is no way near as a reliable answer to Gengar because of the latter's access to life orb / ball which 2hkos Magneton AND with Blissey around, Gengar is basically free and goes unpunished.
 
Blissey and Chansey together can form the ultimate sp cancerous combo. If Blissey is running special attacks + twave, then it can be beaten by Sub Cm'ers and Chansey cover that weakness by running Seismic Toss + Toxic.
 
Rhydon is in no way a reliable switch in cuz of this:

Yes, modest 252 def / spak Blissey is a thing. The statement says "Status and Leech seed become completely pointless when they are both around", which means that Blissey and Chansey can just repeatedly switch to each other while stalling out Venusaur's 16 pp leech seed. Only growth Venusaur can possess a threat.
 
It's fine to have an opinion on whether the announcement is poorly written, but your justification for it is worse. Also instead of shitting all over the TC, can we at least be grateful for the amount of effort they are putting in to try and make things work in such a quick amount of time?

Right now PokeMMO doesn't even show up on Nintendo's radar, sure they are aware of it, but it isn't big enough to actually spend money dealing with it. Currently, their solution is "Just keep doing what we've been doing because the online MMO's that are "totally" not copyright infringing us, because these second rate programmers think they know how to navigate complex law, are not even considered competition by us". There's a critical mass to this game, and once we hit that, PokeMMO will be crushed by the super giant known as Nintendo.
 
 
And going to conventions is not possible. If they went they wouldn't even be permitted to have a stand, and even if they were, they couldn't say anything about pokemon. And how do you talk about PokeMMO without talking about Pokemon?

Implement Johto Starters via Professor Birch

In Pokemon Emerald Version, you acquire one of the Johto starters by completing the Hoenn Dex.

I have some alternatives that the developers might want to look at....
 
Alternative 1 = Complete the Elite Four in both regions


 
Alternative 2 = Win at least a 70 Battle Streak in the Battle Frontier

 
 
Alternative 3 = After the Hoenn Elite Four, there can be a side quest to acquire items (like Celio in Kanto who requests a Ruby and a Sapphire).

 
Alternative 4 = Battle the Professor himself!

 
Alternative 5 = Kouteshi's event

Lets figure out some locations to spawn these starters. I would suggest the developers to put in a block for these starters to appear until you acquire the scripted starter. I am going to list some possible locations for these starters to be implemented.....

Overall, I wanted to suggest some plausible ways to implement Johto starters into PokeMMO. I am not too crazy about the Johto region personally, but it would be nice to implement starters. If there are some ways of implementation that I didn't mention or if there is an idea you disagree with, lets discuss it.
