  1. I'm not sure how you'll manage the scheduling of matches but here are my 10 mons.
    I'd suggest 1 week to be able to request a rematch and 1 week for a gym leader to reply and only 1 gym leader may be challenged per day. (something like that)
    I also think we should be allowed 12 mons rather than 10, but idm 10.

  2. Let’s see if my mind has anything to offer...

     

    Thought process: YuGiOh GX rankings.. divide players into three main tiers. Their gameplay will be judged by the high three organizers.

    Players get sorted in their houses (we can use the Pokémon Go team names here) ..Moltres being the lowest and Articuno being the highest. (Following YuGi GX colors)

     

    Each host is mainly responsible for one house.

     

    Hosts matches:

    Two games vs each host, one blind and one with revealed teams.

    Hosts are obviously highly ranked and greatly respected among the community.

    Each host can have his own way of judging as long as it translates into numbers on the same scale with other hosts so they can take the average and decide the final mmr (matchmaking rank) of a certain player.

     

    Each house can have a max number of players given that the highest has 1/2 of the 2nd and 1/4 of the 3rd.

    Naturally when the seats are filled the person at the very bottom of the lowest tier is always endangered by new comers that can result in him being kicked and repeating the process of joining.

     

    You are placed in a house: 

    Instead of elo, we will follow the battle tower arc from HunterxHunter logic.

    Matches need to be scheduled and monitored.

    If you get certain amounts of defeats you’re demoted. (Or kicked if you’re in the bottom tier)

    If you get a certain amount of wins you get a chance to get promoted.

    (By facing the lowest ranked player in the higher tier in a best 2 out of 3 match, which can demote him)

    Privilages of having a certain rank can be discussed.

    Sechdulaing no matches for a certain amount of time causes you disqualification from the whole league until you repeat the process.

     

    I know there are many holes here and there in what I’m saying but with enough commitment this is very doable

    I can confirm I have the same bug.Sometimes when you enter in sight of 2 trainers in hoenn and beat 1 trainer.The next trainer battle makes your game freeze.You have to wait like 30seconds for the 2nd trainer to start talking to start the battle or you gotta relog and resume session so that he starts to talk and to battle him.Very annoying bug.

    I only get a small ...let's call it a "hiccup" between the two battles, so I can confirm that with slower systems it might actually lag longer.

  4. While watching a replay, I noticed you wait as long as the players wait to make a decision.
    Can it be turn based? Or Can each turn in the replay have a constant time?

    Like all you need for a reply really is 
    Turn 1: A did x, B did y, no need to wait as much time as they do to think. xD

    Sometimes I enjoy watching how other players approach the game, and the wait time (specially when it can be minutes) takes away from that.

RNG is poorly implemented in this game and can be affected by your RAM values sometimes, when you feel something shouldn’t happen (say like heat wave missing 3 times in a row, and that happened to me few times in the past) is happening more often than it should, restart the game. The cached data that’s causing faulty “dice rolls” will not affect you anymore. 

     

    btw to everyone using the dice example and what not, if a dice is not made correctly it’ll lean towards some sides more than the others, and rn generators are faulty af. Study the matter, you can’t compare real life with rng. You just can’t. 

  6. Porting a 3D game to a 2D client isn't gonna be happening anytime soon if at all.
    It'd be a huge amount of work and so little gained from it.

    It is just not as simple as sprites being thrown left and right anymore, there are cameras and a whole new axis to deal with.
    Also to avoid the possible wrath of gamefreak, you'd have to wait two more gens to come out before considering this, so at the very least 5 years from now.

    Not to mention they'd need 3D artists if they want to keep the vanity concepts of the current version of the game across all gens.

    It is the only pokemon an NPC could have without his ability working. 
    And the NPC always sends him first, and if I'm not wrong he is also put at the end of the party so he will be always the target of his own ability.

    I think it is either because of his stats and movepool (pretty strong mix attacker that can change the whole meta),

    or because they want to keep him as a special asset to use at a big event later,

    or -and I put my money on this one- they are afraid of implementing his ability, imagine the amount of bugs that will happen. XD

    A restriction implemented on the client side? You sure it just didn't take you an hour to "reinstall"?
