bump now that johto is almost here

They don't pick anyone - player test servers (PTS) are always open for everyone to join. Staff make an announcement on forums with a link to download a separate client for the PTS once it's up and running. Its usually only live for a few days, and usually over a weekend. Also any progress made on the PTS gets wiped once the server closes so it's not like first access yields any benefits, we basically just mass bug test the new region

Do you intend on doing yearly anniversary events - specifically in July/August? If so, why those months? IIRC last year around this time you replied to a post of mine saying the actual anniversary for PokeMMO is the first week of April

U forgot to mention players with skill issues

It's because your pay-day'ing. Especially at dragonspiral tower where tons of bots park and payday farm. When you payday there (or other high level pokemon areas) you're going to get a captcha 1x every hour. If you get a captcha, do 1 payday right after solving it, then leave and go do something non-payday related like shiny hunting, or alpha catching or whatever, you'll still get 1 captcha 1hr after your last one - because you did the 1 payday. Its an anti cheat metric everyone who paydays for hours there has to endure, and it helps keep our game from being overrun with bots and yen inflation, just solve the thing and carry on. Either that or go find other ways to farm money. No one is targeting you specifically or anything

His screenshot proves his character was not deleted, and subsequently, neither was his inventory. If it was deleted, he wouldn't even have the option to click on and then log into this character to show the trainer card. He had to have met 1 of the requirements for his account to not get deleted to even post what he did. I'm assuming what they mean by "Actually when I logged in, I had no character and all" is that his character had no hairstyle, skin tone, default clothing, etc. After the 2016 "character customization 2.0" update happened in March 2016, we all had to log in and select our default vanities and hair etc all over again. It basically meant logging into an old account but getting a free makeover kit. I can see how that would make someone think they had no character - it shows white hair, white clothes, basic everything instead of what your character looked like when you logged out years and years ago. I recovered an account I had lost the password to a year or two ago and got the same option when i logged in (for the first time since 2013). No. Welcome back btw

10/10 Highly recommend this artist. They were quick and very accommodating. If anything, I am a fairly difficult person to deal with - I sent them a bunch of example art and images of my in-game sprite and basically left the rest up to VDJM and said "just surprise me". The result was breathtaking. I can't wait to get more in the future. If you are considering taking a chance on this shop, you won't be disappointed. This was my end-result:

You can always delete the character and make a new one with the same IGN 2 seconds later with the specific capitalization you want. That's the only free way i know of that exists on how to do this, but if you wanna keep your in-game hours, friend list, untradeable items/pokemon etc., you just gotta pay up

Sorry to inform you but there have been multiple players who found the same species shiny in the same exact horde before, so 0 minutes between each shiny. These are two examples I personally spectated in game (due to the players announcing them in Global chat):

Team [Mr]'s Legendary Dog Fight! Fourth edition of the semi-anual [Mr] team wars (This event is for in-game [Mr] Members only and NOT open to the general public) Team [Mr] is hosting an event for all of our team's shiny hunting (in-game) members to join. This is a 1 week long, 3-team, group shiny race. Every player wishing to join can sign up and will be noted down and then drafted to 1 of 3 groups/teams on the day the event starts. Each shiny found during the week long event will gain points for that player's team, and at the end of the week, the team with the most points wins. Points per shiny will vary depending on how the shiny is found (single encounter, safari catch, 3x horde, 5x horde or egg hatch). We will be hosting a team draft for all 3 teams 1 hour before the event to decide who goes on which team. The captains are going to be Me (awkways), NeoJuaske and Turtle. You may mail me in-game or via Discord to sign up to participate. May the best team win! TEAM MR BIRTHDAY BONUS: On January 17th, 2023, it is Team Mr's 8th birthday. In 2022 I only got 2 shinys via eggs (mudkip/treeko) and now 1st day of 2023: 71,300 encounters since my last wild shiny, #44 appears

Happy (Almost) New year! As the year comes to a close, we should all take some time to reflect on what a historic year 2022 was for team [Mr]. This was one of our most active years by far - overall the team found over 500 OT Shinys, which is an absolutely mind boggling amount. In the past whenever they were cancelling an event they did announce it well ahead of time, and iirc when they cancelled halloween due to them working on unova they even asked if we wanted an exact copy paste of the previous years event (including the same vanities again) or for them to keep working on the new region, and the players let them skip it. The fact that theyhaven't said its cancelled yet speaks immense volumes to the older playerbase. Im 100% convinced theyre just working on something new and its got some kinks that need straightening out. Put your patient pants on

The fist page of this post is only updated once a year or so, but if you scroll through the comments, every species' shiny has been found by now (at least as far as i know of anyway). Even the super hard to encounter / hatch for shinys. A secret shiny shedinja, shiny tyrogue, shiny everything - you name it, it's all listed below: I don't think there's currently a need for a whole new post about the matter. In around 5 years I've only seen this thread reach the 2nd page of the General Discussion forums section once or twice, so I'd recommend at least reading through the top 10 or so posts before making your own in the future to prevent duplicates. You can also use the search function located in the top right corner, below your username - you can search for key words and set pretty specific filters there. Enjoy! PS.
