Note: Staff members will be accepting Pokemon submissions from a certain group of people who signed up for the event. Since this kind of event used to go very slow and messy in the past, we're now going to use registrations and divide players over staff members so all the entries get submitted evenly over each staff member. This will make it easier for the players and easier for staff. When you signed up, you will be appointed a staff member who you should submit your entry to within the time of the event by a whisper. Everybody that signs up is allowed to play in the event. There are no reserves. Pokemon will be calculated based on a few factors: All IV's added together + rarity value + 20 points for the nature bonus.Note: IV ranges will be averaged, rarity and bonus natures are listed further down. Date + Time: Date: Sunday 8th JuneTime: 4:00-5:00 PM EDT | 1:00-2:00 PM PDT | 8:00-9:00 PM GMT Registration Open:Date: Friday 6th JuneTime: 4:00 PM EDT | 1:00 AM PDT | 8:00 PM GMT Registration Closed:Date: Sunday 8th JuneTime: 3:00 PM EDT | 12:00 PM PDT | 7:00 PM GMT Location: Staff will be at Fuschia Pokemon Center, Channel 7 Rules: - Your Pokemon must be captured and given to the staff member you are appointed to within the hour limit, any Pokemon caught before or after will be disqualified. - If your Pokemon has any EV's it is disqualified. - If your Pokemon is a higher level than obtainable in the Safari Zone, it is disqualified. - Only listed Pokemon count. - You can only submit one Pokemon per character. - You should whisper the staff member with your entry. - Pokemon acquired by fishing are not counted. - The Pokemon submitted must have the player's OT. I don't recall us stating anywhere that Art Contests do not deserve a shiny. In fact it has always been so that a lower tier shiny could be given for any type of (forum) event instead of reward points. It is mostly the choice of the host. The prizes aren't really comparable, as you can't objectively say a shiny prize is worth more then an RP prize. In fact I know somebody who preferred the RP prize over the shiny prize in an event because he wanted the box expansion. In any case, thank you for your feedback and we'll consider it when deciding prizes for future events.
