This means we'll be looking into whether if fits in the UU Tier or whether it will be banned to BL. The UU Council feels like Blaziken might be too strong for the UU Tier, so we'd like to quickban it to BL. This thread exists to discuss whether the community agrees with us on this one. Important moves: Super power blaze kick brick break thunder punch rock slide fire punch (better accuracy than blaze kick only reason) quick attack earthquake return reveral high jump kick endure bulk up swords dance overheat flamethrower fire blast hidden power agility Common movesets: -Choice Band blaze kick super power thunder punch earthquake/ rock slide/ quick attack -Sdance swords dance blaze kick brick break/Superpower thunder punch/ rock slide -Mixed set overheat super power blaze kick hidden power (maybe grass) -Bulk up set bulk up super power blaze kick quick attack -Agility set agility (use agility first than use attacks as needed 252 att/sp att) super power blaze kick overheat -Endursal/subversal endure/substitute reversal blaze kick quick attack -Sunnysweeper sunny day solar beam fire blast hidden power Next weekend (17-18-19) the decision will be made to suspect test this pokemon in UU or quickban to BL. karimologia 1 Link to comment

Reversal, Mixed sets, Coverage moves, priority, and Superpower make this baby an even better Hitmonlee (Think Swords Dance Hitmonlee). Pros: That extra STAB is scary Better Movepool (Fire, Electric, Fighting is unstoppable outside of Altaria) Special attacking opens up some nifty ways of killing things that somehow don't die to that monstrous Blazekick+Superpower STAB combo Cons: Lack of Bug, Fire & Steel type moves in the tier gives it few chances to play off of resistances Weakness to Psychic, Ground, Flying, Water and terrible defenses limit its ability to take repeated hits or come back from a missed prediction Bad Spdef is less forgiving than Hitmonlee's relative bulk Reversal's scary, but only as scary as Hitmonlee's (Mach Punch > QA) which I don't usually see in UU matches. Like I said, probably too stronk, but it might be worth a test. It'd be pretty easy to tell from one tournament whether this thing's BL or just really looks the part. Link to comment
