Berry Juice heals 20 HP once the user falls below 50% health. In lvl 5 Little Cup this is nearly (basically is) a full health heal for every poke in the tier (average max HP is about 20-25) Link to comment

Implementing item clause fixes the berry juice problem to some extent, more for 6v6 than 3v3, but yeah. The only way Berry juice would be OP is if it was like this in 3v3. And anyway, running item clause in a 6v6 match kinda limits you a lot seeing as we don't have that many usable items. Link to comment

Item Clause in 3v3 makes sense and is accepted as a rule in pretty much every rendition of 3v3 we have. The Berry Juice thing is just because it seems like a broken item in a level 5 tournament, imo. A pokemon should never get the opportunity for a full health heal after receiving damage. Link to comment
