VGC 2016: German Nationals this Saturday!

Hello people. This topic will keep those interested up to date with the Video Game Championship Series, which is now heading toward the grand conclusion in Europe: the UK Nationals take place in less than 2 days from this post and ya boy OldKeith is in for the kill!

 

The tournament will be in Liverpool, and will be huge, hosting VGC (Omega Ruby/ Alpha Sapphire played on the DS), TCG and Pokken. It will be officially streamed, and you can follow the stream and schedule here:

Basically, VGC coverage of matches begins at 11:30 am in UK (6:30 am in USA East). It will be a spectacular event in a crazy doubles ubers format, something you should not miss as a pokemon fan! Be sure to tweet about how OldKeith is the best pokemon player you ever met.

Last VGC event I watched I remember there being a Nidoqueen, and that guy wrecked shit. Was awesome, I love seeing well thought out/unconventional meta-counter picks like that.

I got my worlds invite. Was supposed to top cut but i got my xerneas flinched by landorus in game 2 before the freest setup ever. In game 3 my groudon got crit by acray earth power so yeah. Still happy to be among Europe's finest.

6-3 and 7-2 was a cut.
