I think some of the people in this thread assume that because a suggestion exists, and that we see & like it means that it's an instant priority over more important issues. That is however not the case. And I like the idea of the aesthetics and light sources of Kanto being sorted out, not right now perhaps, but definitely should be done, because IzikSquirel is correct, it doesn't make sense.

It takes away his powers. The people on Krypton didn't have superpowers. They just became normal. Holy shit do you even comic book.

Looks like I gotta nerd it up in here... For starters, I want to quickly address the kryptonite issue. Green Kryptonite affects supes in the same way that high doses of radiation affects people. The reason it didn't affect the Krpytonians is because the planet wasn't radioactive until is was destroyed, thus Kryptonite. As for how Superman shaves, it's even cannon in the comics since the Golden Age that he uses his heat vision to shave. This is because he does have pinpoint precision with his heat vision due to his super vision, and he has complete control over the intensity of them due to the overwhelming amount of training he underwent for controlling his powers (which is why Supes can, say, give someone a hug safely and still smash a skyscraper). Also, his "Invincibility" comes from a Kinetic barrier that his body produces. Superman is entirely capable of making his heat vision strong enough to penetrate the barrier. Once past it, burning the hairs off is entirely possible. At most, he gives himself slight 1st degree burns, and due to his accelerated healing, he is able to recover from almost instantly. I really don't feel like citing all of this so look it up if you guys don't believe me. This is a childhood of comics, movies and cartoons that I'm basing this off of. And I don't even really like Superman Edit: In case anyone is curious, the other types of common kryptonite are Red Kyptonite, Blue Kryptonite, and Gold Kryptonite. Red causes a Kryptonian to go insane due to over saturation of power (Post Crisis has Red Krptonite making his skin transparent, and unable to filter solar radiation). Blue Kryptonite, depending on which version, is most often used to increase Superman's powers in the same way that Green Kryptonite powers up Bizzaro. Gold Kryptonite is by far the most dangerous, as it cuts off a Kryptonian's ability to absorb solar energy permanently, effectively taking their powers away for good. Also, Kryptonite is really damn rare. Like, the Kryptonite Ring that Lex Luthor wore cost him over One Million dollars in the 70's. Not that easy to get.

Iziksquirel the remark I made was actually said before I became a moderator. I'm sorry that it "grinds your gears" but in no way did I mean for it to be snarky. It was my opinion on the subject matter at the time and it still is.

Hello everyone, Akunja here bringing you a Do it Yourself signature tutorial, This tutorial is based on the recent signatures I've been making, and is a simple yet effective way of making them. Requirements: (important!!) Custom brushes (you can find my brush folder here: http://www.mediafire...a6sb6t2kxqas52b ) Photoshop (Cs3 or higher recommended) Basic photoshop knowledge Time and paitence Reders (would recommend PNG files) Fonts Step 1:Probably the easiest step in the tutorial, Open Photoshop and create a new file for this tutorial i used 450x170 (i like it that way) Step 2: Also another Easy step if you know what to look for, This step is basically.. Chose your Render Step 3: You should now be looking at your Render and your blank canvass Step 4: Resize your Render to fit your blank canvass Step 5: This is where custom brushes come in, open up your brushes and decide what you want to use Step 6: This step is where you get creative, after selecting your brushes (for this i used SPARKLE_Metal-cx brush, and did to brush strokes, using the same colours as mightyena. How you do this part is entirely up to you, use your creativity, and place brush strokes where you think they look best, and use colours that go with the render your using, rather than any 2 random colours Step 7: As you can see, by this step I've finished applying my brushes, I added Lightning from my lightning brush pack, and an aura type brush from my winter breeze brushes, carefully choosing where I wanted to place the brush strokes once you've finished Apply a Brightness/Contrast filter (optional) Step 8: Apply Gradient map, If you add a gradient map, you will want to change the blending mode to colour dodge and change the fill till you are satisfied with the outcome (optional) Step 9: Add your font/text Step 10: Save PSD File, and save as Jpeg or PNG Step 11: Upload and enjoy :) Finished Result: Feel free to post your results :) **Edit: Fixed missing images for step 8 & 9

Are you sure? Scyther has a 4% rate in the Entrance, but it's exclusive to FR (Pinsir being the LG counterpart) so I'm assuming the rate is halved. Chansey has a 4% unsplit rate in Zone 2. Am I missing something?

So yesterday was the Regional championship for both Varsity Baseball and Varsity Softball. Both my high school's softball and baseball teams made it to the championship game. Both lost on walk-off hits If you don't know what a walk-off is, google it, then go outside. This is pretty depressing

People who live in rural areas (like me) aren't going to be able to play this console if it requires a good connection. And what if I have a limit to the amount of data I can use? I don't want it to be using the internet when it's off. We should be able to use a console offline if I want to. Microsoft is screwing this up big time.

it's not unexpected that it's not backwards compatible with 360 games, but i'm surprised that the live arcade titles won't be transferrable. forcing people to sign in online once a day is going to piss off a lot of military base and remote area gamers.
