  1. Explanation: The Lilycove art museum is planning an exhibit each month showcasing a different type of Pokemon. For a month, they have decided to feature poison type Pokemon at the recommendation of Moetal, the standout of the previous exhibit. Will your artwork be the highlight of this next ehibit? Entries can be submitted in any form - from hand-drawn to digital to sculpture to 3D model. A poison type Pokemon must be the focus of each artwork, but people and other Pokemon can be included. Mega evolutions and special forms are allowed as long as they are part poison type. Date/time for submission: May 5th (00:01 EDT) until June 5th (23:59 EDT) Prizes: First place: Choice of which type the next contest will feature (that hasn't been done yet) AND 1000 Reward Points OR 1,000,000 Pokeyen. Second place: 500 Reward Points OR 500,000 Pokeyen. Rules: All artwork must be 100% original. Tracing or manipulating existing images is not allowed. Only one entry per user. If you wish to replace your entry, please do so by editing your post. All entries must be submitted on time and in this thread. Your post must contain your in-game name. The Pokemon you draw must be partially or fully of the POISON type. Arceus is considered to be a normal type, so is not eligible. Pokemon Allowed: Host: RacheLucario Other judges: Noad, Munya, Eggplant, Pereiraa
  2. This is a cute idea, but I'm afraid it won't be happening. The game doesn't revolve around us and the majority of the community know nothing about us. This would be both an unnecessary and difficult to convey feature. Some staff members may not enjoy the amount of attention this would draw to them either, and the roster changes frequently, which could lead to some confusion when a shiny day doesn't happen or one happens that players don't expect. We're happy enough being here as we are and don't need a special mechanic like this dedicated to each of us.
  3. Life Ball has been unbanned now that the issue with it has been resolved.
  4. No, the Johto starters don't count as part of your owned/caught dex total. They're only part of the "seen" total, as they can be fought in the Battle Frontier.
  5. These Pokemon can be seen, but not obtained. Most of them can be fought at the Battle Frontier. You may notice that the seen and owned/caught totals at the bottom of the Pokedex aren't the same.
  6. They look quite different in the default GUIs, particularly the darker one.
  7. The attack drop from being burned still affects critical hit damage. Crits previously ignored this, but that bug has long since been fixed. We will not be altering critical hit mechanics unless something turns out to be bugged. The chance of a critical hit adds a much-needed element of risk to buffing your defenses and can prevent a Calm Mind/Curse war from becoming a guaranteed PP stall. RNG is a part of the game, whether it's appreciated or not.
  8. This won't be happening. You'll have to pay to remove them, and you'll still profit from reselling them regardless.
  9. The problem with this is that it would allow you to convert a common OT such as Rattata into a rare OT such as Eevee. It was very likely done this way to prevent that from occurring. With that being said though, maintaining your OT if you breed an OT male Persian with a non-OT Female Meowth/Persian might not be a bad idea, although it does take away from a shiny Ditto's breeding usefulness.
  10. Congratulations to ArfArf for first place, DestructX for second place, SirVector for third place, and BlueBreath for fourth place! We hope you all had fun, and a huge thank you to everyone who helped out~ Bracket

These changes were made for the sake of balance and a healthy economy. Previously all of the systems mentioned were extremely unbalanced and had enormous negative effects on the economy and/or game as a whole. Easier doesn't mean better, and harder doesn't mean worse. These changes will not be reverted.

Account trading is explicitly against the terms of service. It's more severe than account sharing as it's literal ownership being given rather than access. As for the thread title, you're correct. Fixing.

In order for this to be allowed, it must be done with name change tickets. No selling of accounts is to take place or there will be extreme consequences for both the buyer and seller.
  14. As others have stated, you need BP to teach the move. It's the only way.
  15. Nothing will happen to your account. Everything should still be there when you return, provided that you haven't given anyone your password.
  16. Congratulations to Gutina for first place and Schuchty for second place~ We hope to see you at the next leaderboard tournament~ Keep battling hard until then!
  17. As there is no good reason to implement this and because of how inconsistent it would be (all key items stay in the region they were obtained in) as well as potentially resulting in the player having a bike early if they started in Hoenn, this won't be happening.
  18. Nope, this won't be happening. Sorry to see that it got away though.
  19. The Pokemon are randomly generated at the moment. IVs and nature will vary, EVs are always 0.
  20. The exp gain is arguably far too high already. In Kanto, you're gaining 280% (100% + 60% per Pokemon) exp if you're using both daycares and it's even higher if you're using non-OT Pokemon and a Lucky Egg in battle. Increasing it to 200% per Pokemon in the daycare would bring that to an absurd 700% not including extra gains. If anything, it should be reduced from what it is rather than increased.
  21. Thanks to xSkyy for the poster! Explanation: 1. All Pokemon must hold either Choice Band, Special Choice band, Swift Choice Band, or nothing. 2. I'm not sure who did it, but I imagine that this was caused by a simple mistake. I've moved the threads back to trade corner, PM me if I've missed yours. It wasn't Munya, that much I can confirm.
  24. On paper this sounds like an okay suggestion, but it poses some problems. If players can withdraw a full party of Pokemon or claim them from the mail before they get their starter, they can end up in a stall battle with the wild Zigzagoon or their rival's starter. Players generally don't expect their Pokemon to disobey them at the start of a new region. With that being said, this suggestion won't be implemented. It applies only a minor convenience in exchange for a huge annoyance for players stuck in the above situation.
