The Johto region is now available, featuring a new storyline with several bosses to challenge This region requires a HeartGold/SoulSilver ROM to function. Players who have already installed these ROM files for visual changes don't need to do anything. For Johto, disobedience works separately from your badge count. While badges will increase your disobedience level along your journey, other key storyline events can too. You'll receive a notification when your disobedience level changes and you can always check it in your Trainer Card. To start this region's adventure, create a new character or visit the Ferry Captain in your current region
Apricorns can be found in this region. These can be used to create several new classes of balls: Moon Balls may be crafted for $1,000 + a Yellow Apricorn. These offer 4.0x catch rate for species trees which can be evolved with a Moon Stone. Fast Balls may be crafted for $1,000 + a White Apricorn. These offer 4.0x catch rate for species with 100 base Speed or higher. Heavy Balls may be crafted for $1,000 + a Black Apricorn. These offer a catch rate with the following formula: 1.0x for species with < 100kg weight 2.0x for species with < 200kg weight 3.0x for species with < 300kg weight 4.0x for species with >= 300kg weight Friend Balls may be crafted for $1,000 + a Green Apricorn. These offer a catch rate of 2.5x for species trees which have a Happiness evolution in them. They also greatly increase happiness (to 78%) upon capture. Lure Balls may be crafted for $1,200 + a Blue Apricorn. They offer a 4.0x catch rate for encounters which occur with a Fishing Rod (including Phenomena and special Feebas encounters). Love Balls may be crafted for $1,350 + a Pink Apricorn. They offer an 8.0x catch rate for encounters which are of the same species tree, but of the opposite gender. These don't work against genderless species. Level Balls may be crafted for $1,350 + a Red Apricorn. These offer a 4.0x catch rate for targets which are the same level as your active party member's.
Voltorb Flip is a minigame which can be found in the Goldenrod Game Corner Players who win Level 8 of this minigame will receive an  exclusive reward Special encounters can occur when using Headbutt on trees in Johto. Once disturbed, these trees will need to be left alone for a while before a new encounter can occur. Mt. Silver is an optional end-game area which can be visited after defeating every region's Elite 4 and completing the National OT Dex. Exclusive rewards await inside. The National OT Dex requirement only applies to species which are normally visible. It does not include special monsters which are time-limited, such as Shaymin, nor overworld legendary events.  Special surprises await!

    Money Making Methods Comparison
This guide will list all possible money making methods with income shown in k/hour (or other time period for cooldown methods). Many methods here are not listed in any other guides, they will also include "how to" explanation if needed. I will assume Battle Points to pokedollars conversion as 1 to 15, taking ability pill as a reference point (2250 BP = 35000$, 1 BP = 15.56$). Time taken to execute each method assumed for average player without using crazy speed-running tactics.

Items and pokemon costs might change drastically from what were listed in the guide, i will try to keep them up to date, but if you want to know current income of any particular method, you can simply insert new cost in the final formula listed in the end of the method description and calculate it by yourself, don't forget to subtract GTL (Global Trade Link) fee (all methods in this guide assumes selling in GTL, direct trade will make slightly more money).

If you know any methods, not mentioned here, or find mistakes in the guide, let me know in the comments.
Credits to the Money Making Guide, which inspired me to make my own:

    Methods with Cooldown
This methods are prioritized if you want to make maximum profit, however trainer rematches get outdone by some Unlimited Methods, so it's not recommended to spend more than one hour on each cycle. Amulet coin cost is assumed to be 20k.
    Gym Rematches 420k/day
While having level 100 pokemon in your party, each gym leader gives you around 9000$ on average, for 33 gym leaders (-Giovanny, +Chili, Cress, Cilan), this will result in ~300k total, or 450k with amulet coin. It takes around 1.5 hours for prepared player with good team to rematch all gyms, so i am reducing final income by the 1.5 costs of the amulet coin (20k x 1.5 = 30k). This will result in 280k/hour, which, despite cooldown, might be important to compare with other methods. For more information and teams examples follow this guide and associated guides, listed inside it.

    Trainer Rematches 300k/6 hours
Credits to Trainer Rematch Guide. Don't forget to rematch Cynthia in Undella Town (Unova) each day in the spring and summer seasons (seasons changes every month).
In 1st Amulet Coin i was able to make ~195k (which results in 175k/hour), in 2nd ~140k (120k/hour), 3rd and consecutive amulet coins will provide even smaller amount of moneys, due to low trainer rewards at this point, so i don't reccomend doing more than 2. Read spoiler for the list of trainers i fought:
Note: Morimoto rematchable only once per day, so on the second cycle income will be lower.

    Elite Four Rematches 440k/6 hours
Rematching E4 with regular team might end in spending more moneys, then getting, due to lack of free healing between fights. But there is one OP tactic banned in competitive, but allowed in PvE - evasion. I am using next pokemon for my rematches:

Blissey will also work, but you may try literally any bulky pokemon with Double Team. This tactic still don't eliminate item's using completely, but minimize (pun intended) them as much as possible, i am using X Defend or X Sp. Def (for Shuckle) at the beginning of some battles, depending on the pokemon i am setting up against, and healing items, when something goes wrong due to RNG. This results in around 40k spendings per full run. Each Champion gives 66k at level 100, resulting in 99k with amulet coin, this method is quite slow due to long setup, so it takes around 2 hours to rematch them all, you also getting 2k BP from each E4. Final formula: 400k - 40k - 40k + (8k BP x 15 = 120k) = 440k. 220k/hour.

    Leppa Berry Farming 180k/day
Check Berry Farming Guide if you don't know how it works in this game. Leppas are most wanted berries, so it's easy to sell them all, don't forget you can use trade chat and sell them directly to avoid GTL fee. I am assuming all berry patches in both Unova and Hoenn are used (189 total). I planting both leppa and berries, that provides seeds for leppa (rawst, pecha, cheri) at the same time, I use ratio of 27 rawst, 27 pecha, 57 cheri, 78 leppa which is as close to self-sufficient as possible, but you still have to sell extra and buy missing seeds in GTL. If you REALLY like berry farming, you can create several characters and farm on all of them, in that case I recommend to exclude Hoenn patches, since they are too small and far away from each other, this will result in 150k income per harvest. All time combined to plant, water and harvest berries results in around 20 minutes, which gives this method an effective rate of 450k/hour. Also, check watering guide for efficient farming.

    Unova Story Rerun 1000k/run
To farm berries on several characters you have to unlock farming spots on that characters first. And redoing story on new character is actually pretty worth it, especially with prepared pokemon mailed from main character. And best region for it is undoubdetly Unova, since it has 2 exp. shares and, most importantly, mentioned berry farming spots. For this run you should skip as much trainers as possible (since money they give are not worth spending time) and collect all items and hidden items, except for the ones, that are too far away from story route or too cheap. It will take around 5 hours, after some training, and thus result in ~200k/hour.

    Unlimited Methods
    Thief/Covet
Banette believed to be the best pokemon for this methods, make sure it have Frisk ability.
    Fossils Farming 180k/hour
Credits to This Guide for Kanto Island 1, i was using this method, due to Dome Fossil and Old Amber being quite high priced, compared to other fossils.
    Final Formula: 5.2 * (Helix + Dome) + 3.9 * Old Amber + 6.5 * Hard Stone + 13 * Everstone
    Turnback Cave 170k/hour
By breaking rocks in Turnback Cave you can get Sinnoh fossils and everstones, and also encounter rare Spiritomb. Considering how many there in small area and you don't even need to wait until respawn - this is one of the best rocksmash farming spots. But don't forget, that rocks before first Pillar do not contain pokemon.
    Final Formula: 4.3 * (Armor + Skull) + 10.1 * Everstone + 5.76 * Spiritomb + 19500$
    Amulet Coin 170k/hour
Main method of farming them is using Sweet Scent on Kanto Route 5 to summon Meowth Hordes. There is also Mankey hordes, run from them, even if your Frisk pokemon shown an item, this Payapa Berries not worth your time.
Final Formula: 8.6 * (Amulet Coin + Quick Claw)
    Lucky Egg (Small) 140k/hour
Due to recent patch, farming from Hordes became harder, since at level 34 Pelipper learns Fling, which most of the times nullify your efforts of trying to thief lucky egg, to prevent it you have to teach your Banette Imprison and Fling, by using Imprison it will stop all Pelippers from using Fling. I was farming at Ever Grande City (Hoenn) from single encounters, but most of the other locations have the same chance of encountering a Pelipper.
    Final Formula: 3.15 * Lucky Egg (Small) + 6.3 * (Damp Rock + Pretty Wing) + 11.7 * Poison Barb
    Mt. Coronet (Grass) 140k/hour
Absol have a chance of holding Life Orb, which is very valuable, out of all locations it appear, this one shown to be the best, due to many additional valuable items, including Soothe Bell.
    Kanto Power Plant 115k/hour
Muk have a chance of holding Toxic Orb, which is very valuable, out of all locations it appear, this one shown to be the best, due to many additional valuable items, including Light Ball.
    Final Formula: 0.45 * Toxic Orb + 3.6 * Light Ball + 37000$/hour
    Heart Scale 105k/hour
I used Ever Grande City location (Hoenn) to farm them, but there is actually not much difference between locations in all four regions, so you can use any.
    Final Formula: 23.5 * Heart Scale + 7.8 * Red Shard
    Sky Pillar 100k/hour
Every pokemon here, except for the Golbat, may hold something (and Altaria, but you won't meet it, if you farm on the 1st floor), and many of this items are quite valuable.
    Leftovers Farming 85k/hour
Wild Snorlax may hold Leftovers, but they are rare (~5%) to encounter (only in Cerulean Cave). I tested it on the Mewtwo's floor of Cerulean Cave. Also, wild Munchlax have 100% chance to hold Leftovers, but only way to encounter it - is Honey Trees with 1% chance. Cost of Leftovers is around 40k by the moment of writing this section.
    Lunatone/Solrock 85k/hour
I thought that Comet Shard might make this worth while, but it's chance appeared to be too low. Anyway it's still better, than some believed-to-be-good methods. I used hordes in Meteor Falls after waterfall on 1F and B1F for Lunatone and Solrock respectively.
    Petalburg Woods 73k/hour
Same as with Lunatone/Solrock, I thought Big and Balm Mushrooms from Shroomish might make it worth while. Don't forget, that you can use Tiny and Big mushrooms for move relearning at Kanto Island 2.

    Pick Up + Pay Day
Check this Pick Up Guide for more information. From all the research, I made for that guide, I came to a conclusion that chance of Pick Up is not 10%, but rather depends on the total number of possible pick ups in the location, I believe it is 1% per each item.
Covet + Pick Up + Pay Day 170k/hour
Executed by fishing in Undella Bay, use Covet on Luvdiscs you encounter to steal heart scales and payday on everything else.
Even max Attack level 100 Meowth is not enough to OHKO most Shellders with Pay Day, so you have to use Munchlax in order to maximize your profit.
    Final Formula: 18 * Heart Scale + 100k
    Undella Bay 150k/hour
Even max Attack level 100 Meowth with Choice Band is not enough to OHKO each pokemon in this location with Pay Day, so you have to use Munchlax in order to maximize your profit.
    Berry Forest 115k/hour
Despite being believed as the best Pick Up location, Berry Forest is actually worse, than Undella Bay. Yes, you can Pick Up Leftovers here, but all others pick ups are much less worthy, than ones in Undella Bay, which also have higher Pick Up chance overall.

    Battle Points Farming
I am assuming Battle Points to pokedollars conversion as 1 to 15, taking ability pill as a reference point (2250 BP = 35000$, 1 BP = 15.56$)
    Hoenn Battle Frontier 140k/hour
Read this Battle Frontier Guide for more information. According to my research, all battle facilities and modes have around the same rewards progression, except for Battle Factory, which have x1.5, but it is too random to farm reliably. Also Multi and Link battles have slightly higher rewards, but i don't know to what extent. Level 100 feels to have slightly higher rewards than level 50, but I am not sure. Each set of 7 battles takes me 13 minutes on average (when using ultra-offense team), if you manage to hold streak for long enough, you can make around 60m / 13m * 2000 BP = 9230 Battle Points per hour, which converts into ~140'000$/hour.
    PvP Matchmaking 20k/hour
I wouldn't count seasonal rewards, since they are limited. Each match can last for unpredictable amount of time, but I will assume 15 minutes for ultra-offense team. For win you getting 500 BP and for lose - 150 BP, with 50% winrate you will be making 60m / 15m * (500 + 150) / 2 = 1300 BP/hour which converts into ~20'000$/hour.
    Kanto Battle Tower 0k/hour
Since you don't get healed after each fight and, therefore, have to use potions and revives, and opponents using strongest pokemon from the start, it is impossible to reliably make moneys here.
    Legendary Hunting ?k/hour
Read This for more information about Legendary pokemon in PokeMMO. Each time you win in a battle for a Legendary (either attacking or defending), you getting 1000 BP. Since this method is very unreliable and depends on many random factors, I can't calculate income for it. Team "MGod" is known for actively hunting for legendaries and passing them inside the team. Fastest way to pass a legendary is to wait until timer ends (1 minute) without making a turn. If we assume perfect conditions, this will result in 60'000 BP per hour for a team, which converts into 900k/hour.

    Breeders Hunting
    Safari Magikarp Farming 120k/hour
Safari gives you 30 balls for 500$, which is super cheap and helps if you completely broke and can't or wont rematch trainers for some reason. I tested this method in Kanto Safari, but it should also work in Hoenn and Black March. You have 100% catch rate after throwing rock, and they rarely flee after it.
    Ditto Farming 100k/hour
I know 3 major ways of Ditto farming: Setting a lead, Using Substitute (Transform fails into Substitute, but have only 10 PP, so rarely Ditto may start struggling), and the best: using Assist while having a pokemon in the party, that only knows Spore and Moves, that cannot be called by Assist. It is widely discussed, what is better to use: Poke Balls or Repeat Balls to catch Dittos? The answer varies with the cost of Dittos and also depends if you selling them thru GTL or by direct trade. If Dittos are cheap and you using GTL, then its better to use Poke Balls. But if Dittos costs much, or you selling boxes directly, then it's slightly better to use Repeat Balls. Either way difference is not much, around 5k/hour.
    Field Group Farming 95k/hour
I used to farm in Unova Route 1, which have 100% field group encounter with 255 catch rate each (which means you have 99% chance to catch with Poke Ball after just False Swipe). This is one of the best money making methods available to new players early on, since they can't rematch Gyms and wealthy trainers yet.

    Other Methods
There are quite obscure or unreliable methods here, just to be mentioned.
    Phenomena Hunting ~60k/hour
Read This about how Phenomena works in PokeMMO. In perfect conditions Phenomena happens twice every 15 minutes, but in reality many didn't get noticed even in Chinese channels, so income will be lower, but what is special about this method, is that you can combine it with most other methods, distracting to visit Phenomena and coming back to original method after it. Each Phenomena gives you Mysterious Gem if you caught or defeated pokemon within it, dust clouds may provide you with Unova fossils instead (this is the only way to get them). Mysterious Gem might be used for Elemental Gems crafting or sold for around 9k. Many pokemon that appears only in Phenomena can also be sold for good price.
    Shiny Hunting ~45k/hour
Sounds unbelievable, but you can actually make moneys of shiny hunting. I will use Rapidash hordes in Unova Route 12, just as an example, since it is very popular spot for Speed EV-training and Leveling. It takes me 2 minutes on average to run from 6 Rapidash hordes (Sweet Scent PP Maxed of course) and replenish PP in pokemon center. This results in 180 hordes per hour or 900 encounters total. Cost of shiny Rapidash is around 1.5 millions. As we know chance of shiny is 1 to 30k, so this will result in 45k/hour on average, or 50k/hour with donator status (shiny charms will increase your income only by ~170$ each or ~80$ for 5%).
    Starting Up A Service ?k/hour
EV-Training, Leveling and Breeding are the major services provided by other players in PokeMMO. Prices are varies widely, so it's hard to name any exact numbers. But overall, from what I've seen, their services are quite cheap, resulting in around 80k/hour for EV-Training and Leveling up to 50, and 50k/hour for Leveling up to 100. Breeding might give you up to 100k/hour, including breeding for selling in GTL.
    GTL Flipping ∞k/hour
Buying cheap and selling for more later, in case of some cosmetics might give you huge moneys if you know what you are doing. For more information read This.

DiegoAtdYT reacted to Razachu in Timers/Indicators for Field Effects (e.g. Weather & Trick Room)
My suggestion is, if possible, to add timers/indicators that indicate how many turns there are of field effects (such as weather, trick room, tailwind) and screens (Light Screen/Reflect) in PvP battles.

It would be a nice QoL feature that would help players in PvP games - similar to what exists in Pokemon Showdown!

(Apologies if this has previously been requested and I didn't find the suggestion)

    Thank you!!

DiegoAtdYT reacted to AshKetshem in Enhancing Player Convenience: The Need for an Outfit Preset System in PokéMMO
I believe that implementing an outfit preset system within the game would enhance the player experience in terms of cosmetics. Such a system would allow players to save their favorite outfits and easily switch between them. Many players have specific outfit combinations or individual pieces they enjoy swapping between, particularly those who have been playing for a long time and have accumulated numerous cosmetics. Currently, searching for and assembling each clothing piece can be quite tedious. Therefore, introducing a preset feature for outfits in PokéMMO would be an excellent quality-of-life improvement.

Basically, everytime that one of these Legendaries spawns (somebody catchs it) there are a group of people who come to log off with it with the porpouse of release it again into the wild, so nobody can have it:

    - They don't want to farm BP what is completely fine and everyone have the right to do it. - They don't want to register it or let anyone register it. - They don't want to fight and run to hide somewhere, what is completely fine and Legendaries are meant to be for that and we love to have fun battling in triple battles.
What they really want is to disconnect with Legendaries many times untill the Pokemon is released "into the wild" so if somebody wants it, they need to wait 24 hours more or less to catch it again. This group, after releasing it, makes fun of us, alleging that nobody deserves to have it.

This have been happening months and months, they used a lot of bugs that you Devs know well, like Hearsthome gym ch0, or spamming the dueling button that was fixed thanks to you.

They reported us for "insulting" or "using bugs" everytime we try to keep It from being released and a lot of players are tired of this situation everytime we want to have fun in triples battles or calle people to have It. Basically nobody comes to register or to battle because this players are always waiting in another accounts to release it at the very moment it spawns.

It is too easy for them to release it and after they feel pleased, leaving toxic messages or making fun if they manage to release it.

They start to insulting us if they lose in a triple battle. They creates accounts to spy our teams and check if we have a hidden Legendary. They even created a private WhatsApp group to perform this. This situation is out of hand and we want the administrators to know It.

Is annoying and UNFAIR that 4 or 5 five players are doing what they want and making the Game more toxic and boring for the rest of us. Even if we are good at PVP It doesnt matter, in the next Battle the system make us have less Pokémons so it impossible to defend It from them.

So one of our suggetion (IMPORTANT) and please consider it, is to add a cooldown time to the players of 1 hour to challenging again a another player with a Legendary if they disconnect (very similar if you disconnect or let the time run in any PVP Tier), so they can't 'disconnect and grab', 'disconnect and grab' so easily.

We also made a video in english and spanish explaining this situation so please check it out. Thanks for reading.

    Habilidades: Viscosidad y Colector
    Obj. Equipado: Ninguno
Grupo Huevo: Caos y Agua A.

    Habilidad: Clorofila y Defensa Hoja
    Obj. Equipado: Ninguno
    Grupo Huevo: Hada y Planta
EV que da: +1 Def. Esp.

    Grupo Huevo: Bicho y Planta

    Habilidades: Ritmo propio y Tumbos
    Obj. Equipado: Baya Atania
    Grupo Huevo: Humanoide y Terreno.
EV que da: +1 At. Especial

    Monstruo
    Agua A
    Bicho
    Volador
    Terreno
    Hada
    Planta
    Humanoide
    Agua C
    Mineral
    Caos
    Agua B
    Ditto

    Habilidad: Insonorizar
No le afectan los Movimientos de Sonido.
    Obj. Equipado: Baya Atania
    Grupo Huevo: Monstruo y Terreno

    Obj. Equipado: Ninguno
Grupo Huevo: Agua A y Terreno
EV que da: +1 At. Esp y +2 At. Esp

En encuentros individuales para Slowpoke 30 – 35

    Habilidades: Despiste y Ritmo Propio
Obj. Equipado: Cola Plúmbea, Roca del Rey
Grupo Huevo: Agua A y Monstruo

     https://oyster.ignimgs.com/mediawiki/apis.ign.com/pokemon-black-and-white/e/e3/Pokemans_046.gif
Encuentros individuales en los niveles 8 – 12
Habilidades: Efec. Espora y Piel Seca
    Grupo Huevo: Bicho y Planta

Vital y Recogida

DiegoAtdYT reacted to Pondmanne in Johto (and beyond) suggestion
Hi, I've never made a post here but I don't plan on breaking any rules here.
I saw some concerning in-game discussion today that stated the devs were intending on omitting the Kanto side of the Johto map when HG/SS finally drops.

This post is a plea to the developers to reconsider.

I understand the logistics of omitting a second Kanto.
    1. 16 Gym rematches a day would perhaps be unbalanced.
    2. It may be confusing to some players.
    3. Having two Kantos wouldn't make sense.
    4. Its a lot of extra work for not much content.

I would like to provide some responses to these problems that I believe would be feasable in the hopes of saving half of my favorite games.

    1. 16 Gym Rematches a day may be unbalanced.
I believe this is one of the easier issues to fix- Simply limit the amount of rematches that are available. Limit 8 per day or decrease the payout per Gym Leader defeated while in Johto or Kanto (HGSS).

    2. Having two Kantos may confuse some players.
This concern is well-founded. A player may find themselves talking in General when someone announces a new Alpha spawn in Rock Tunnel. Players will flock to the Lavender Town Pokemon Center and rush into Rock Tunnel, only for it to be revealed that the Alpha spawn was in the HGSS version of Kanto. I believe there are two ways that we can solve this problem.
    1. Any time the player is in a Kanto location, the location name in the corner of the screen would read <Location name> FRLG or <Location name> HGSS.
    2. A new item that could be sold in the Gift Shop: the Time Machine.
The Time Machine would allow instant travel between locations in the two Kantos. In Cerulean City FRLG and need to get to Cerulean City HGSS? Just use the Time Machine and you will instantly be teleported to the front of the Pokemon Center in that town.
The concept of time travel brings me to the next solution I have for the issues posed earlier:

    3. Having two Kantos wouldn't make sense.
This is where the fun begins. Instead of traveling to Johto via the Pirate, introduce a new NPC in the Laboratory of each of the professors. This NPC is working on a Time Machine that can send the player through time and space to Johto, two years in the future. Likewise, in Johto, there will be an NPC that can send you back in time, two years in the past. This would do two things.
    1. Allow for the existence of two vastly different Kantos in a way that makes logical sense.
And 2. Allow you to implement Unova from Black 2 and White 2 in the future, should the devs see fit to do so.
Logic hasn't always been imperative to Pokemon, but I think this time travel solution would prove adequate.

This leads me to what will likely be the groveling section of my post.
    4. Its a lot of extra work for not much content.
You're right. Kanto in HGSS didn't have a ton going on in it content-wise. It would likely be quite a lot of work to implement. But the story started in Johto isn't finished until Kanto. Silver's arc gets resolved. Suicune is finally tracked down after chasing it through an entire region. Team Rocket is put to bed for good. Professor Oak awards you with your second starter. You discover who took over the Fuchsia Gym after Koga was promoted to Elite Four.
All this to say- Kanto is a massive part of the Johto experience. Johto simply isn't the same without its sister to the East.

Let me wrap up this cringe post for anyone still reading
PokeMMO has done something amazing in bringing together all these regions and making them feel connected and alive. I believe that same experience can be attributed in some small part to our collective first step into Kanto in Gens 2 and 4. I ask you devs to please consider staying true to the original HGSS and keeping Kanto intact. If not now, then at least leave that door open to be added later.

    -Sincerely
    The Least Cringe Johto Fan

a common storage system for the team/clan with a permissions system

Like many mmo games I think the game needs to improve the team system and add clan pvp, shared clan poke money item storage system.

add upgradeable bases for teams, for example deposit 500 red parts among all members to add a pokeball vendor to the clan base with a 10% discount.

deposit 1000 seeds to add a common berry planting area...

add pvp with rank between clans.

In general, I think that mechanics should be added to encourage collaboration between players to achieve something and give meaning to the teams, things like the last event. It was great to play during the last event, you entered the global chat and there were a lot of people collaborating to get the tables and forming teams to pass the sanctuary

We need things like that to make it meaningful to invite a friend to the game and have common progress and encourage collaborating with other players to get stuff.

As the title says, the idea is to show the letters of the secret shiny in a different color when it is tagged in the chat, as we all know shiny pokes look yellow when they are placed in the chat, the idea occurred to me make the secrets a different color to show a noticeable difference between one and the other, I leave an image that I edit as an example
Obviously the color would be the choice of the staff
The orange one would be the secret shiny and the yellow one that we all know

    Bug Fixes
Fixed various client crashes Fixed various issues with Macho Brace / EXP Splitter interaction. Fixed an issue where controller inputs would not be mapped correctly if there was no keyboard key bound to a function Fixed an issue where, when reconnecting while interacting with a Mart, the client could become stuck Added an animation for egg hatching Extra animations can be turned off in the Settings menu Fixed an issue where duplicate entries for Lures would show up in the Dex for certain entries (e.g. Crobat) Fixed an issue where Magic Room would cause a targeting error in-battle when it ended Fixed an issue where, when using Elixirs in battle, a message would play stating it had no effect Fixed Natural Gift typing shown in various UIs When an item is held, the type of this move will now be updated to reflect the move type, if any. When no berry is held, typing is now considered "???" and will show no label. Fixed an issue where Wide Guard / Quick Guard increased Protect-type moves' failure percentage if they failed to be used Fixed an issue where, if a player used a Repel while a Lure was very close to ending, they could be spammed with many messages about lures wearing off Players can no longer unbind essential hotkeys (A/B/Up/Down/Left/Right) Multiple Gracidea can now be used at once Fixed Curse/Protean's interaction Curse is now targetable in double battles Chatter is no longer blacklisted by Me First Encore can no longer call Sleep Talk Sleep Talk can no longer call Nature Power or Chatter Mimic can no longer call Metronome, Mirror Move, Transform, Struggle, Sleep Talk, Nature Power, Assist, Me First, Copycat, Chatter, or Fling Fixed an issue where Encore's targeting behavior could fail if the user-selected move was not the same as the encored move Fixed an issue where Encore's turn count would be shortened by 1 if used after the target already moved Fixed an issue where Sap Sipper would not suppress secondary stat drop effects of moves such as Leaf Storm Fixed an issue where, if logging out while placing a decoration item in Secret Bases, the client would pretend it's still placing an item upon reconnecting Fixed an issue where Fancy Butterfly Wings' lighting effects wouldn't work properly in GBA regions Fixed an issue where Skill Swap would cause abilities to be activated if it failed to be used Transform now affects the weight of the user Fixed an issue where a Golduck Alpha Swarm in Unova would not be interactable Magic Room now negates Choice item selections Fixed an issue where, when fainting a wild encounter with Sticky Barb with a contact move, the item would not be retained Fixed an issue where, when using Trick against an opponent which had the same Choice item, it would lock the move selection after usage Rules for held item retention against wild encounters have been standardized Previously, held item retention was implemented differently per-move. This led to different behavior depending on what move was used, such as how Trick would never allow held items to be obtained from wild encounters. In general, players are now able to retain a wild encounter's held item as expected if their original held item was destroyed (through consumption or Fling), if they captured the opponent, or if they had no held item at the start of the battle. Wild held items are not retained if the player would have destroyed an Untossable item, or a permanent, non-consumable battle item (such as a Choice Band) Sweet Scent is now used immediately after being prompted to refresh it with a PP item Fixed Trick's message broadcast order Fixed an issue where swapping positions of a party member in a battle box would eat the entry for the target slot Fixed an issue where Darmanitan, while in Zen Mode, would incorrectly use base stats instead of calculated stats for damage calculations Fixed a targeting error which would occur if Rattled was activated by Intimidate The Alpha dex now properly shows Glameow / Lillipup evolution lines (released in LNY 2023)
    Special Notes
Items which were marked with the tag "This item is event-bound. It will become untradeable after this seasonal event is over, and will be deleted at a later date." have been deleted in this maintenance period. This pruning will occur automatically for future events. HeartGold/SoulSilver support is still in-progress. We expect to announce a public test server event for it Soon™

DiegoAtdYT reacted to NohanSD in Pokémon followers' sprite change during night time
Hey, my name is Jules and i'm an active Pokemmo player from France. Recently, i thought about a possible upgrade/change for Pokemmo. If any developers are interested in this idea i'd be glad to help you create this change. Basically I thought about editing the pokemon followers sprite's brightness, during night time some pokemon species could be brighter than others (the same brightness as some cosmetics : torch, shadow bone club etc...). For example charizard's tail is in fire so it would make sense for it to be bright same for chandelure and many others fire type in general. This change could also apply to some electrik pokemons or any pokemon that can produce light in general (typhlosion's back, metagross' eyes, huntail's body etc....). Please contact me back to tell me if you're interested in this idea, my discord is cringepilled#8447. 🙂

DiegoAtdYT reacted to Strodex in Tradeable Gift Pokemon within the same Account
I've searched the forum for this, but could've missed this if it was previously a suggestion. However, I wouldn't mind having the ability to mail gift pokes to my main/alts so I can train them up for story modes or just level them in general. It's a small ask, but as far as I can tell it wouldn't harm the economy in any way and it just seems like a nice QOL change, albiet I don't know how difficult this is to implement.
