This is about 6 years old, but this midi sound style is probably equivalent in sound quality to what I'd make nowadays.

I still use the same software and samples, after all.

If I improved anywhere, it's in the theory and musicianship itself, so i'd write more complex arrangements etc.

I've made newer things, but they're mostly pokemon remixes. the one i linked is original
