  1. I fully agree that 100RP vouchers should have an entirely different color than the 1,000 RP vouchers. As of right now, an absurd numbers of players are taking blatant advantage of the similar colors & text. As of right now, the colors and text are too similar and many RP sellers are just straight up taking advantage of that fact by listing 100 RP vouchers for slightly less than the value of a 1,000RP voucher, knowing that there's a 25%+ chance that a GTL sniper might accidentally buy it, thinking it's a great deal by mistaking a 100RP voucher for a 1,000RP voucher. This is becoming more and more of a problem each day. Now we're starting to even see the people who got tricked into buying overpriced 100RP vouchers seek to make up SOME of their lost money by relisting the 100RP voucher for an overpriced value (slightly less than a 1,000 RP voucher) again, and hoping some other player makes the exact same mistake they did. At the moment there's a rip-off cycle happening in GTL because of a simple color / text similarity. To illustrate the point, this is an image a friend of mine captured the other night - they changed the text of these 2 items (via strings), and then did a quick GTL search: Keep in mind, these are just the ones that no one got tricked into buying. Many more 100 RP vouchers get instantly bought. I've even recently seen a few screenshots of players selling 100 RP vouchers for ~1.7m instantly. It may not be a noticeable issue at this time to most players/staff, but it's pretty gross to know that this is happening so frequently. Make no mistake, the players who list 100 RP vouchers for 1.5-1.7m know exactly what they're doing. They're hoping to trick someone out of their money by abusing the likeness of the 2 items. Players shouldn't have to edit strings just to quickly know if they should buy something (before the bots/other snipers buy it), or if it's a dumb attempt to rip someone off. GTL flippers know that they have to be VERY fast to get any kind of significant purchase and a little oversight like this causes a shady trick to become extremely common - since it works, and it works very well. They can sell 1,000 RP for 17m if they trick enough players. The issue here is that it works, and players are getting away with it constantly. I'm sure the devs didn't intend for this to happen at all, and they likely just wanted the color schemes to match with the other recently added icons for a universal feel. On mobile & even using the desktop client it's pretty hard to tell the difference in color / text for these particular 2 items in any meaningful time frame. Just changing the 100RP ticket to purple for example (or any other color) would help slow down or even potentially fully stop this cycle of overpricing & intentionally tricking other players and getting away with it.
  2. A bit curious, why aren't you doing any 2016 event only or older items? Vampire Fangs, 2016 elfbots, Gingerbread man for example. Even some 2017 ones are missing like Sleigh Bell Ribbons, but you have Gingerbread hood + costume, which is the same year (2017). Are they just listed too infrequently to be reliably found in GTL?
  3. Found a big ole' steaming pile of gold nuggetturd while doing a charm today Shiny #40 - 40,149 wild encounters
  4. Thanks to everyone who participated, congrats to all who won & a big thanks to our gracious host, @SirDusty ! To everyone who lost (like me): We'll get 'em next time :v
  5. GTL is never the same price as people are willing to actually let something go for. If you see a vanity for 20m and someone won't sell it for 500k less (esp in PURE CASH), they don't actually wanna sell, and you need to move on to the next seller. That said, thanks for the data @Quakkz. A quick glance at the most recent prices indicate maybe we're in a recession. Wonder what that could be from? Nuke time from devs? Nah, couldn't be..
  6. I'll take 8 tickets. Mail sent in game.
  7. You have a few choices. You can either right click another member and make them the leader, and then leave - or you can press "g" in game and click this button: The method pictured above takes at least 24 hours and can be cancelled though.
  8. I actually liked walking under that dude. PS. Damp Rock shiny trading market soonTM
  9. Would be very useful, nice idea
  10. Looks amazing. Incredibly fast too. Thanks!
  11. I sent you mail with my discord name and messaged you on discord. Excited to see what you made :)
  12. Hey there - really love the art style! If you accept commissions, I'd be willing to pay 2m+ for a depiction of my in-game character. You can make it as a signature or profile picture, whichever you prefer. Here are some (older) images which my in-game character usually looks like: Feel free to use whichever image of me you feel most comfortable drawing, should you decide to accept my request. Thanks in advance!
  13. The picture he linked is showing a patched rom - not a tile mod, that's why it only works in the region (rom) that the patch was applied to. Tile mods have been disabled since the 2017 update when unova was added: Unfortunately, it doesn't like they ever properly noted that they disabled them in any official announcements, so the best evidence that I can find to support this is this post where I asked Darkshade: Some rom patches do still work, but seasons seem to mess with the tiles which change colors or are semi transparent or something, and it looks kinda wacky. I have no idea how to fix this, but I occasionally swap in the version of fire red which I patched with this mod: Here are some example pictures of me running this patch in November (2020) - notice how some areas look really nice and others look way off: Here's a comparison of some areas which are shown in the mod post with how they should be vs. how they currently look in game: There is some hope with Rom Patches ([IPS]) but I'm not sure how exactly they could fix the current issues - maybe if they just left certain tiles alone or something. Hope this helps!

  15. tile mods have been disabled since the 2018 update when unova released (i think maybe because thats also when seasons were added but not really sure). There is no way to run a working tile mod currently. The only way to change the way the world looks would be to make a rom patch file but Ive tried running some of the older rom patches files recently and they looked super weird and broken. I think @Darkshade would be who you want to talk to if you want to know more about rom patches/tile mods
  16. hello yes. I'd like 1 register for this next, and all future raffles pls. I believe I qualify as follows: "people in teams my alts are in and im in good terms with"
  17. A friend of mine, named @ayuwokip, made this, and asked me to share it here for him, as he is not very familiar with Forums in general. Please feel free to show support and he will finish the design:
  18. Hey, remember when devs released a dev blog in 2018 saying they hoped to get dungeons and HA's out to us within "2 weeks" and then when 2 weeks passed they released another update stating that a certain community was doing too much botting/RMT for them to actually work on the game due to the amount of ban appeals they had to reply to? Yeah! I remember that too! 3 years later and nothing ^_^ Just wanna point out - in regards to (but not limited to) legendaries, dungeons, the hidden mew under the truck, the fact you don't believe the shiny rate is fair, the very existence of PokeMMO & the reason mass daily RP donators get rare shinys way easier- they've stated before that Dungeons is used as their "go-to" scapegoat. This has been their mass response excuse to when players question why the game is the way it is since 2012 (when the first players started asking why Mewtwo and the bird trio couldn't be caught). It''s a bit funny to me that anyone takes them serious when they mention major updates or dungeons in general. Once they said HA's were going to be dungeon exclusive, it was obvious that it was a charade. If anyone hasn't read this post yet, I encourage you to, as it's extremely relevant:
  19. This is stupid, lemme explain why: Staff's initial justification for creating shiny breeding (when it's not an actual mechanic in the main series) in 2016 was that it was a shiny sink, similar to money sinks. When they added hordes, they knew it would cause a massive inflation in the total number of shinys, and all shiny prices would tank as a result, unless they did something about it. They legit made the mechanics intentionally so we have to "consume" 2 shinys to get 1 better shiny to try to balance out the addition of hordes. Since your suggestion is to allow shinys to be refined without actually consuming any other shinys, it's pretty safe to say it will never be added
  20. In early 2016 when hordes were added, I was an avid shiny trader, buying and selling shinys or RP items for whatever I could make a tiny profit off. I remember I had sunk most of my money into a shiny phanpy (worth around 3m at the time) and a Kyu hat (also worth around 3m at the time). I had about 850k to spare, and saw a friend selling a 30-day donator status for 800k in trade chat. The average price in trade for a 30-day donator was around 1.2m so I decided to buy it, intending just to make a little money off of it. Some of my teammates were horde hunting at the time, and I decided I wanted to hunt with them for an OT shiny - aka I decided that it was worth it to spend my last 800k by using the donator status instead of trying to make 400k or so gross profit (since it probably wasn't too hard to make 800k within 30 days, it wasn't a massive gamble). I was already horde hunting before using the donator, but after 2 days on the donator status, I met this wonderful yellow clowd birb: After this I was so excited I swear that I couldn't stop grinning for a solid 2 days. Out of all the shinys I was hunting at the time, this is the one which I wanted most. On the same 30-day donator status ticket / shortly under 3 weeks later, I found this: Iirc I was around 573 hours for Swablu, and slightly under 700 hours for Azumarill. This was before encounter counters existed, so I have no idea the total number of encounters, but I assume they were both under 30k (knowing actually how long that takes now). TLDR: Commit to hunting for 1 month and maybe you'll get lucky c:
  21. This is intentional to prevent GTL from being flooded useless pokemon afaik. If they're just random pokemon you can either release them, try trading them to people via trade chat, or price them at 1,000$+the money you want to make (for example price them at 1,200$ if you wanted to gain $200.). Chances are, if they're not worth over 1k then they're random garbage pokemon that anyone can catch. I don't think the devs want us sorting through 25,000 listings of 5$ magikarps. It's prob a big consumption of server space since the listings remain up even when the player is offline. There's a suggestion box portion of the forums if you want to suggest they lower the base tax price, but if they lower it to 500$ those same pokemon will just fall to the equivalent of the base tax again, and be worth $500 instead of $1,000. I think a good way to reduce the endless 1,000$ would be to have a "donation" listing with no tax, no money gained & no price, so anyone can claim them. Kinda like a lost and found or mystery trading in a sense
