I made it bros, I pulled it off. I put few hundred mill into vanities couple years ago, then the market immediately took a dump when berry inflation was nerfed and I lost quite a lot. I then forgot the game exists and yesterday I logged in and found out I had billions.

The biggest issue is the lack of actual options in how to efficiently play the event. You basically had 2 potential options- speed run first 4/5 bosses with flying off/ psy def, with Fire/Grass combo or do the Infinite run with Double fire. Most of the other combinations were complete trash and not even worth trying. Rock/Ground/water were all ridic slow and meant u either would get blown up or status'd almost every fight. Bug/Fighting/Normal OF had potential but either needed really good rng in items/tms early and still would get overshadowed by flying. I think the inclusion of Water Spout/Eruption also kind of ruin the difficulty level of the event once you get to the doubles portion. (A way that you can exchange, or do something with the ridic amount of useless items you get during ur run would also be greatly appreciated, maybe every 5 waves have a shop or something that you can sell useless items at and buy basic supplies for high prices etc.)
 
If they are actually interested in overhauling the event buffing the weaker elfbots types and removing the High powered spread moves I think would be a good start. You should be incentivized to play different type combinations based off of the items you get at the start, instead of being incentivized to reset till you get ethers/charcoal. Fixing it so that you gain PP from Health boxes while at full should also be a mandatory change, as intentionally getting a battle and getting hit/hitting each other is just lame. 
 
I think larger variation in Elfbot opponent would be interesting, make each wave spike in difficult by a lot but also increase rewards at a faster rate. People who are smart and strategize/coordinate well should be rewarded rather than whoever has the most time/patience to stay mindlessly grinding in the event. 
 
Finally the bosses were way to easy, and predictable. Anyone who played through the event more than 2-3 times could predict and outplay the bosses. After using wide-guard Xurk should not continue spamming discharge for example, also later waves should have multiple bosses that you must fight consecutively without healing/prep in between. 
 
I have a few other ways that you could balance the event to still be difficult/rewarding but not require 10+ hours of grinding but these are the major changes. Overall the event was cool though and a great way to make some easy $$ without needing to invest anything but time. 

I would've liked a continual spike in difficulty with more rewards as you climb. Obviously not as early as it originally was, but having a run end only when I need to sleep feels kind of lacking if that makes sense. 
 
Great job to the devs for making adjustments to the event and listening to feedback though, much appreciated!

Just hit this after a 7 hour raid, think we've perfected our strategy and got very lucky with ether drops. Shame we lost to a crit... was worth the all-nighter though for sure.

hah was a long run.was about 6hours not more.We were too tired i think u forgot heh.We managed to get to route33 with 4 lives.Only lost 1 by caught in 2v2 rounds.
That round started the impossible round which is 2v2+2(2random allies waiting to get in when allies die)
Was realy fun and hard first time getting there.Barely cleared half the round and lost all 4 lives.Had to lose 2 just to get pp restore cause was all out of items 8(
But even with pp i still had 2 lifes at full pp and died x2.Very hard 2 random elfs and fun.Just glad i managed to get a first taste of that new difficulty late game.
Too bad we lost a player who had to go in the 2v2 rounds before we even go to 2v3 rounds.gg guys was real fun!
Was half way to finish round for another boss.Rip was so close.

Almost 7 hours i guess...

I managed to get 73 points with only 2 elfbots since the start. I decided to leave at that point because I was really tired after so many monotonous battles, but I had 6 lives and could've easility beaten another boss if I wanted to torture myself for another half hour. At this point I had to let the Psychic one die because I needed to heal the Fighting bot with Heal Pulse, and only had one Max Potion left + no Pink Boxes available. Still, I was somewhat lucky with my items.
 

 
I started with the following set:
DEF Psychic Elfbot: Didn't change any move here, and used my first PP Max on Extrasensory. I also prioritized maximizing this elf IVs. I switched between TwistedSpoon and Expert Belt with this Elf, I got a Choice Specs in the end but only used it for 1 battle and then decided to leave. Protect was very important to fight Bug Elfbots and Guzzlord/Buzzwole. Victtory Star + Fighting Elfbot is an amazing combination. 
 
OFF Fighting Elfbot: I made a lot of modifications to this moveset. First of all, I replaced Facade with Asurance to help KO Ghost elfs as soon as I got the TM. Then, I replaced Protect with Fake Out as soon as I could, which was very useful to not waste to many PPs of Extrasensory/Jump Kick. Then I replaced Asurance with Fire Punch/Zen Headbutt/Wide Guard depending on what I needed at the time. Wide Guard was necessary to save HP when defeating the 5(!) Xurkitress I faced. After the 2v2 elfbots fights started I replaced Fake Out with Heal Pulse wich was probably the best decision I made because I could fight almost anything without worrying too much about the type advantage because I could heal bot elfs after the battle if necessary, at this point I also had a Choice Band, so Fake Out was useless. Prior to that I had an Expert Belt equiped most of the time. 
 
 

was epic run.somehow i managed to 2player win 2 rounds in the 2v3 mode and 1 more boss.
