Wrong, there are many exclusive vanities and money to get, which is the same thing PVE has to offer.
All of the particles, legendaries, shinies and whatnot are buyable with yen, and the only other thing PVE has to offer is exclusive vanities which PVP also has.
So following that reasoning there is nothing to unlock in PVE either 🙂 (cause yea OT is not really relevant to the gameplay)

First of all PvE makes you able to go and PvP because you have to catch pokemons.
Good luck with your gifted pokemons and untradeable items

PvE (through seasonal events like CNY and Xmas, link shunting etc ...)

Link shunting isn't even forced because you can do it solo, Xmas just got rid of dungeon and in CNY previous years you weren't forced to go as 4, you could just play as 2

I will ignore PvP part because there is nothing to unlock that cannot be archieved by playing solo and most stuff is community driven anyway.

Someone's obviously never played another MMO before

Not only you are wrong but you just totally missed my point, what does that have to do with PokeMMO being fully solo(able) game and only dungeons forcing you to team up (as minium 2) up to this point, I don't see any reason for forcing players to find more players when it was possible to do as 2 before.

Basically if you expected to play this game entirely solo, that's not what the game is designed for 😞

Yeah sure, name any other thing where you are forced to interact with others to get something

if you could inspect others pokemon, matches in the overworld can become greatly unfair

How it is unfair if both parties can see it?

I think vanities are also not very reasonable to be allowed to "inspect" because the amount of beggars who would just harrass people with cool vanities is insane.

I can't imagine someone would beg someone for part of his outfit, also you can see it already just some people won't know vanity name

    Maybe trainer card alone

How is this any better than showing someone's vanities which are visible anyway? I bet more players would beg for money, like 1kk if they see you have 200kk.

I wouldn't mind any of it
Just give player possibility to choose what he wants to share

Every other tier is a pain to get too, specially UU and NU (theres so few matches ur expected to wait a few turns betweeen ur battles).

Not to mention that you need to have comp already if you want to win anything. So you have to dump money into pokemons just to get close to nothing out of it

  6. Hello everyone,

I've noticed a few areas where the Pokédex functionality could be enhanced for a better user experience. I believe these changes could make UI more intuitive and enjoyable for everyone. Here are my suggestions:

    1. PvP Tier Visibility: Currently, when a player hasn't owned a Pokémon, they can't see its PvP tier in the Pokédex. However, they can filter Pokémons by PvP tiers. This inconsistency seems a bit counterintuitive. My suggestion is to allow players to view the PvP tier of a Pokémon in the Pokédex regardless of whether they've owned it.

    2. Egg Group and Abilities Accessibility: Similar to the PvP tier issue, players cannot check a Pokémon's Egg Group in the Pokédex, but they can filter by Egg Groups on the Global Trade Link (GTL). Additionally, while players can view types, abilities, hidden abilities, and some moves on the GTL, these details are not accessible in the Pokédex. It would be more convenient if these informations were unlocked in the Pokédex by default, allowing players to check it directly rather than having to look it up in multiple places (web included) if they don't have finished Pokédex.

    3. Persistent 'Return' Button: In the current Pokédex design, the 'Return' button is only visible on the first tab of a Pokémon's entry. It would be more user-friendly if this button was available at all times, so players don't have to navigate back to the first tab just to return to the previous screen.

    4. Improved Navigation in PvP Statistics: In the PvP statistics section, players need to scroll down to find the 'Back to Overview' button. This could be made more accessible by making it visible at all times, saving time and enhancing the user experience.

    5. Expansion of Hotkey Slots and Lock Feature: Many players, myself included, would benefit from having more than the current limit of 9 hotkey slots. For example, I own 12 ocarinas, and while not all need hotkeys, essential items like bikes, lures, repels, fishing rods, and sweet scent quickly fill up the available slots. Additionally, an option to lock hotkey slots would prevent accidental unbinding, which is a common issue I encounter, especially when using stuff like sweet scent with a mouse.

I believe these changes would make the Pokédex and related features more user-friendly, efficient and suited for MMO game.

Thank you for your time and consideration!

  7. If you want to sink money you should increase costs of things people use everyday like harvesting tools, breeding items, pokeballs, lures or decrease income by nerfing things like gym reruns. I would avoid increasing GTL taxes, because people could just stop using GTL which is kinda happening in small scale with ditto boxes and leppa berries just like they could not use features you proposed.
More unhinged ways to sink money would be fee for boat to change regions, pc healing, losing money when losing to npcs xD

But without data how much money people spend on what we can only speculate

I kinda miss old times when lucky eggs were currency but having money is more convinient

We never asked to accelerate, but to accelerate the fights which I remind you take place every ten steps or so, well yes I'm exaggerating a bit, moreover I would add that I would not say no to an increase in the character's running speed because it is slower than the original, you talk about shiny hunting or PVP but what's the relationship? That's not the point and you're totally off the mark.

The only way i would like this implemented is plain and simple: Accelerate all battle animations and texts by 25%(1.25x speed helps a bit and would not broke) for everyone, not for donors-only.

    and how it's any different?

economy would adjust and shinies, at least for me, are overpriced useless pokemons

also they could've decrease shiny rates

  9. Lack of MMOs built on community and social activities
Like everywhere else everyone is grinding and only be like 'out of my spot' or just don't care/go away, no person to talk to

I even tried to play Moviestar Planet because of this (21yo) but community there is like 7-14yo kids only asking for free stuff.

    @edit

I also like Pokemons lmao, and hoping to win tournament somewhere in future
