  3. Halloween 2018 This event will run from 30/10 to 05/11. A giant pumpkin has been spotted near Driftveil City. Beat up children to steal their candy. Feed the pumpkin to win a prize. Special wild ghosts have been spotted in Unova. These special ghosts may have higher IVs than normal wild encounters. There is currently a 25% chance to have at least 1 >29 IV. These ghosts may have some other mysterious attributes. UI Particles, such as the Shiny entry animation, are now optional and may be toggled through the summary frame. Particles no longer block battle actions when swapping in. All non-Shiny particles will be inherited by children during breeding. Gift Shop The "Bats" particle is now available for the duration of Halloween. This item is seasonal, and will return next year. Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where some players may always connect to the server "Kars". Probably fixed an issue where players on Android would sometimes see an "Another User Has Logged In" message due to networking conditions Fixed an issue where some idle animations for follower sprite NPCs would be corrupted Fixed an issue where stat adjusting abilities (Marvel Scale, etc.) would not be affected by Mold Breaker Fixed an issue where Synchronize could have triggered on abnormal conditions Possibly fixed an issue where Recoil could break "PvP winner" calculations Notes Spooky Candy from the 2016 event has been deleted.

  8. I don't really like the bullying going on in this thread. The Suggestions Box is a dumping grounds for both unrefined and refined ideas, and players bullying eachother because they believe the idea is bad doesn't help the game. So, I would appreciate if you all left the judgment of ideas to the people who actually implement them. Anyway, on to the actual suggestion: It's correct that it's a clone of Phenomena with alternate assets. Although, I would say that Phenomena are what Swarms always should have been. Phenomena are also a vulnerable type of encounter, because their functionality (and rewards) are dependent on Unova's popularity, which will inevitably wane as we continue to develop the game, and more regions are introduced. Although it was a few months ago, I came to the same conclusion as the OP when thinking about swarms. Because B/W gave us the ability to use follower sprites as NPCs (they weren't available in FR/LG, and we write gameplay for our base level of assets), they are a way to repackage the phenomena gameplay into other regions, and to ensure that the phenomena-exclusive rewards (Gems) have reliable sources no matter what Unova's popularity is. That's why I planned on adding it fairly soon.

  14. Hi everyone, As the game has increased in popularity over the Summer, RMT and botting related activities have also been increasing noticeably. There seems to be some misunderstanding about what isn't allowed in-game, so I would like to clarify that today. Real Money Trading and other illicit services upset the balance of the game by providing an unfair advantage to some players, and as such, are prohibited under the Terms of Service. RMT activities also contributes to other forms of cheating, such as where RMT vendors will use dedicated botting characters in order to create and sell gold. Since August, we have terminated more than 3,500 accounts related to RMT activity and botting, and are still banning hundreds per day. You may have heard stories of players professing their innocence by claiming that they were banned for trading with their friends, but we do not ban for normal trades with friends, transfers between alternate accounts, giveaways, or in-game sales of Gift Shop items. Often, players have been banned for receiving millions of gold from automated script characters while trying to hide the source of the money. Other times, players may have a dedicated botting character which they use to cheat on, then they are shocked when we take their main account, because they "weren't cheating on it." Regardless of how we find them, there is no statute of limitations to these types of rule violations. Usually, we will take action a few weeks after we find the violation, when they think they are safe. We are not immune to mistakes, but right now, the rate of approved ban appeals from these types of violations is less than 5%. When we make a mistake, it's almost always due to a legitimate trade with an RMT vendor. We believe this false positive rate is still too high, and we are working to improve it. In order to ensure the fairness of the game is maintained, we have diverted significant development resources to our administrative tools so that we can better handle this scale of cheating. We hope this knowledge will put normal players at ease. Finally, we would like to thank the players who have taken the time to report RMT and botting activity to the Game Masters. Reports help immensely, and we are very grateful for them.

    We are aware of some issues with automatic deleveling not occurring for people with the new caps, and are looking to fix it for the next patch. Thanks for your patience Edit: As-of the latest patch, deleveling should now occur for party members on login. Deleveling does not occur for PC/GTL monsters.
