Do I extract the file into Pokemmo > data > themes ?

 

I tried the step you give at GitHub but it doesn work?, I tried checking in the "settings > interface" but it doesn show in the client

I am just going to blunt as possible. The number 2 point is very clear. Drop in the "data" folder -> PokeMMO\data

 

 

I am not sure why you thought to drop it another level down into themes when nothing is mentioned about that.

So, it sounds like a possible download issue. Do this.. take a screenshot of what your download contents look like and also take a screenshot how you are placing the contents into that "data" folder. Somewhere along those lines a step is being messed up.

1. Grab theme from the latest releases- under assets it will download as source zip.

 

2. Extract the contents of this zip (strings and themes folder) into PokeMMO\data.

 

this merges the strings and themes folder included in the source zip for you- OR manually drag and drop the strings xmls into the strings folder, and the Archetype folder into themes.

 

The way I have packaged the zip is so people can just drag / drop and have everything done in a single action.

 

I have tried to streamline the installation process so it is less work for the user.

 

Same with the installation directions- if followed out of order, user will have to restart multiple times, instead of just once while changing client language.

 

tldr; there's nothing different between this theme and any other, just that it comes with its own optional strings.

Releases / updates are published to GitHub daily to retain version control and provide a centralized location where users may contribute.

If you want to modify the theme yourself, please fork the GitHub repository.

If there are multi-language errors please report these at https://github.com/ssjshields/pokemmo-archetype/issues/10, or in our Discord as they are related to the default strings containing long or incorrect translations- and have nothing to do with the theme itself.

Labels are distorted in the same way in the default game, it just isn't as noticeable.

I cannot get a straight answer as to what domains are accessible in your region or not as of 2022.

As per google, https://github.com/ and https://gitea.io/en-us/ are apparently unblocked since 2021, at least. Is this the case?

When I post to CN forums, it would be pointless for me to point users to Git if they can't get to it. I understand not everyone uses VPN.

HOWEVER- WE DO NOT WANT to reupload zips @ mediafire, or other sites, etc, because we need to have the ability to retain version control, update / remove / release content easily like these platforms (Git) allow us to do.

Could you do me a favor and provide me a screenshot (if possible.) stating whether or not you can access these sites?
And or fwd me any Git like platform accessible to you.
