It s crazy How rng works for this, New players and not wealthy players Can easily catch alphas, otherwise some old players had hard times to catch it and of course not good IVs

 

The more early you catch an alpha the more perfect IVs it got

Apparently this is a permanent feature so the hype will die down in around a week.

 

The only hype is finding out which HAs are getting released first so competitive players can prepare, otherwise nothing special

It's pretty great imo, and if you guys haven't tried this yet; try and go to Unova or Sinnoh region and put a Pokémon out as follower (both shiny and normal one) and watch what happens.
