Like Bowser said, it gives players a goal to work towards. About this being a goal working towards, yeah I agree. I'm sure it has been for some people (yeah, me included haha). However, I really think the overall list should be top 20 or even top 25 - if you really don't have official wins/second places like let's say 90% of comp players then this is not really a goal to work towards when you need 5 official wins to get on the list. If this could be a goal to a large amount of players I'd say they would be working towards to win even the 3 officials (or some second places) to get in the top 20 or 25 instead of having 10. The top 10 list pretty much works only as a competition meter to the top 10 people who actually are there. I'm sure JJ has listed all the players points down so doubt it'd be too much work and don't know why exactly the bigger list was cut to 10. Anyways, yeah this is a nice list and thanks for working for this JJ. On another note: Just please let's not turn this thread into a circlejerk with all the best players on the list. If you really think you are the best by being on the list, you don't need to bother commenting on someone who says they don't value official tournaments being the meter of success. Link to comment

If you state your "opinion" that this list cannot be taken seriously based on just one case where one of the best players in the game wins an official and gets first rounded in unofficial on the same day, then you're pretty much asking for it. I said that one shouldn't take it to serously, implying that this list shouldn't be the only thing to measure someones skill level. Also that one case was just an example and it's enough to prove the point, so why bother by making more? ^^ Beside that the whole statement was ment to be (a bit) ironic and i started with a joke to keep that tone. Also a list of the highest total value of shiny won and of course the lowest. A list of the most first rounded players. A list of most afk timeouts, although it will probably be hard for new players to catch up with Zebra. A list of most dqs which should include staff members (the harshest on top). I think I'm going to do away with the smaller Top 5 Lists for each tier. It is proving to be too much work to keep up with. Instead, I'm going to attempt to garner information on each of the Top 10 Overall Players and provide win statistics. For example, DoubleJ has played in x number of tournaments and has won 35% of them (I wish). You'll see these changes gradually. If anyone wants to take up the Top 5 lists I have all the data and can forward that to you. But, once I make the update on the win percentages, I'll probs just erase them from here.
