This means we'll be looking into whether if fits in the UU Tier or whether it will be banned to BL. The UU Council feels like Medicham is probably too strong for UU and should be quickbanned to BL. This thread exists to discuss whether the community agrees with us on this one. Important moves: Hi Jump Kick Bulk Up Recover Thunder Punch Ice Punch Fire Punch Substitute Endure Reversal Fakeout Common sets -bulk set careful max spdef @leftovers/salac bulk up recover hi jump kick thunder punch/ice punch -reversal set adamant max att/speed @salac sub / endure reversal 2 e punches of choice -choice band set jolly/adamant 252 att/speed hi jump kick 3 epunches / or 2 + fakeout Next weekend (17-18-19) the decision will be made to suspect test this pokemon in UU or quickban to BL. OrangeManiac Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 Easily more destructive than the physical sweepers that were actually banned. Medicham is physically paper, yeah, but Reversal set will fix that making priority pretty much the only reliable thing to bring this down. Base 80 speed in OU isn't a lot but in UU environment that's easily more than enough for sweeps. Not to mention that Psychic and Ghost types are really uncommon if non existing in the current UU so it doesn't even need to predict a lot with its stab. Yeah, just ban it. Havsha 1 Link to comment

DoubleJ Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 (edited) Orange touched on this above quite well. The only reliable thing we have to stop this baby is Claydol and priority. It has an insane Attack stat and is able to carry those ever dangerous coverage moves, the punches. Fortunately it doesn't have a STAB physical Psychic attack, but it's access to reversal is pretty scary.
