For example; Quagsire, Starmie, Lanturn and Tentacool would make up a monotype team because they all share water typing. Details: 32 Players Unlimited Reserves4v4 OU Monotype Single Battle Level 50 Date + Time: Date: Thursday, 20th AugustTime: 4:00 PM EDT | GMT 8:00 PM Registration: Registration will open 10 minutes prior to the tournament. To register post an IGN in this thread. You may only register one person per user. Edited posts will NOT be accepted as a valid registration. Location: Silph CO, Channel 7Clauses: Sleep/OHKO/Pristine/Species/Hax Item/Evasion/Bag Item/Time/Self KO/Item ClauseList of Clauses and what they mean List of Banned Pokemon Dragonite Salamence Tyranitar Wobbuffet Snorlax Blissey Banned Moves Baton PassTorment No longer broken 1st Place Prize: Shiny Gift Swellow // Your choice of nature IVs 25/25/25/25/25/31 Eggmove Pursuit AND 1,000,000 Pokeyens OR 20,000 Battle Points 2nd Place Prize: 10,000 Battle Points OR 500 Reward Points Notes: You may AFK timeout your opponent as soon as the button appears. This clause will not be in effect for the Semi Finals or Final round, where you will only be allowed to press it after the referee gives permission to do so. Disconnecting during a match when result in a DQ. Do not block the Staff running the Event. If you disregard requests for you to unblock staff members then you will be disqualified. Volpi Clause (requesting to change channels for your matches) will not be allowed for this tournament. Entrants are encouraged to uncheck "Render Overworld in Battle". (Menu -> Settings -> Video). Once your match is called you will have 10 minutes to report to the table. No time extensions will be given. If its something like gengar in the sky tournament, its slightly better, but banning a whole move in a gimmick kind of ruins the gimmick effect. Link to comment

I feel ya on this one and agree that it's too soon to ban. I never like messing with player' strategy less than 24 hours before a tourney. I should have brought it up sooner, but you can't argue how broken it is. Link to comment

If you see someone plow through 3 rounds with a rain team, then take a chance and bring mono water or grass or even psychic can beat it. Or ultimate hipster normal monotype team without blissey or snorlax, maybe kanga porygon slaking tauros DoubleJ 1 Link to comment
