am I allowed to upload a jpg/png format from my map or does it only support gravatar host?

 

I can't find the exact width/height size wich is alowed for the avatar , it says 200px would be fine if it was listed.

default karp is 150x150

but since we use gravatar you can go for anything bigger i guess

and if you want to post pics you will need a third party host, like tinypic or imgur

The thing is I came to know that gravatar doesn't accept animated avatars/gif format.

 

it's almost impossible to fit the name,  that's why i like animated avatars cause you've more layers to work with.
