Be able to link website to other people?

I've been in times like some people want to send me a link but unfortunately I cant click them and have to type it in and then access the site.I know that being able to link will have problems like people spamming inappropriate links to others,so that's why I suggest the idea of being able to send links to only the people that are in your friendlist.

So as always I'd like to know the good things and bad things about this idea, telling those below might help. ↓↓↓

Been said many times, it's probably not going to happen because people could add others and send them malicious links.

maybe... can add a option for copy and analyze the link if has malicious virus?

Implying some viruses can't bypass that. And anyways, the people noob enough to get a virus from a malicious link are also too noob to check and analyse it.

Exactly why this idea is bad. Let's leave the link sharing to staff, ye? Maybe use bit.ly or tinyurl when sharing a link with friends.

Allowing certain urls isn't a bad idea.. I'd like to see youtube, pokemmo forums, gyazo etc..

 

Problem is, isn't it possible to spoof a URL and make it one of the allowed websites? 

 

Definitely curious of that.. I think that could be a good idea.

My friend nothin can stop u from doin what u want u can simply do something of the followings:

 

• you can google some info from the link u see and search for it
• you can post it in your status page here
• you can use skype discord teamspeak and all sort of online voip
• you can use pokemmo showdown there are a few ppl in there, not sure if u can link stuff tho...
• um u could use team if he can join rly quick, i know its stupid and yet a small solution..
• hmm maybe...shivtr? dunno something like a global guild site for the community where we can link stuff idk...just saying ideas...
• or u can instead of linking stuff just ask the other guy to google it based on ur description...for example...if u google pokemmo ragstal shop...it will pop up 1st >.>

This has been denied on multiple occasions due to the ability to send malicious links to unsuspecting players as brought up in this thread. As such, I will be denying this as well. Can see some of the previous threads along with why they were denied in the following links.
