With the World Cup starting in under 2 weeks, I thought it would be fun to create some sort of event for the community to celebrate it (it only comes around once every 4 years after all ;) ). I decided to create a prediction system for the group stages for people to join in and maybe win some money! I'm not incredibly rich in game right now but I can put forward 1 million pokeyen into the pot for the winner/s. This means that only a maximum of 20 people can take part (in the very unlikely chance everyone draws it will mean that everyone will win some sort of money prize) and to make it fair I will make it first come first served. Anyone is welcome to join in (including you staff :P )and you don't necessarily need to be a football fan to take part, I just figured it might be a fun thing for the community to get involved in. How it works To win all you have to do is be the person with the most correct predictions of the outcomes of each match in the group stages. You need to guess what country will win the match or if it will be a draw. For every correct guess you make you will win 10 points, the person(s) with the highest number of points at the end of the group stages will take the prize money. No seriously, leaving outside the ref, the coach really dosn't undersatnd a shit about football. Pirlo in the last 2 matches was awful, he isn't able anymore to run, he just walks, ok, he has probably the best foots of the team, but every time he takes the ball he waits and lets the opponent defense to take back the positions, or he just pass the ball behind. 1) Verratti >> Pirlo And they can't play together, Pirlo just takes the space of Verratti and he can't play like he is able to do Balotelli? Just like with Milan, he can only score when the match is easy and it's going for his team, otherwise is USELESS, but what to do? He was the only real striker Italy had, Immobile isn't a pure striker, more like a "Seconda Punta", Candreva, Cerci, Insigne, Cassano. No one of them is a Striker able to stay in the middle of the opponent defense and let the team go up. Luca Toni, old but good, this year he was able to score more than 10 goals in a low-tier team and made them shine. But fuck him, not gonna bring him.
