  2. Not playing your rhetorical game, don't have enough ego for it (or energy to veil insults like you do). My point has already been made. Pokemon exclusivity was unnecessary. It's a valid opinion. Loving to pay for stuff that should be free is also a valid opinion you can have. That's pretty much it.
  3. If you make it simple and it sounds dumb, its probably because it is, just do that in the first place instead of wasting time with big sentences that say nothing but assumptions (and useless things like these).

I honestly have trouble understanding your summary that's a lot of words, what I'm essentially saying is "Players should have choice to hunt freely or costly pokemon" depending on preferences/wealth. Exclusivity is the very and only thing I regret in these Lures. Even if we're not talking about actively hunting, I still think it's pretty dumb to unlock a pokemon by paying, no matter the price, but it's not a big deal ultimately if you just need it for dex. It is however more annoying when it comes to single shiny hunting, which isn't free anymore. 600k isn't insignificant, maybe you are ready to pay for this activity but I'm just annoyed that it became another thing that will take money from my daily grinds. I would be less annoyed if I had the choice or not to invest this money for this activity with the lure perks it brings (increased encounters and new spots).

Yes, you can see it that way and accept it, until every singular activities will require you to grind, and feel less and less free to do anything, until you see that everyone is buying RP to keep up with doing the activities they want to do, and end up realizing you spend more time getting money than using it. Or you can point out that some stuff don't need to be paid, especially such a thing as being to able to get encounters (it's not even an "extra activity" it's the main purpose of game).
  6. If you are hunting, it's not 600, I don't understand why you keep saying that when someone actively hunting gonna end up using millions in Lures whereas it was free before. And they have no other choice than that. If you are not bothered by the fact that this singular activity isn't free anymore then, then so be it, it's valid, but I don't think YOUR feelings are supposed to justify why this activity needs to be expensive either. It's a basic game thing of PokeMMO. My bad tbh, we just have different opinions on this in particular. I will be using Lures but the fact I need to pay for this activity who was just chill before will affect my experience of game and I would rather have kept old spawns. This addition didn't NEED to remove them. I'm not tackling the topic of pay to win because I think it's semantics and I mostly agree with you on that topic (neither mechanic nor Premium version are absurd pay to win, just what we're used to).
  7. We're playing PokeMMO and not regular games so this point is irrelevant tbh, something was effectively removed and that's it. It's not insignificant for the people hunting them. Rotom, Togepi... (rares affected too) Also what you describe is plain dumb to do, I don't know why people always react with saying the worst possible decisions devs can make whenever they try to defend why something isn't a cash-grab. So again, kinda irrelevant to the point. I agree Premium lures are on pair with dono and charms. Single hunting pokemons is more common than you think, whether it be because people don't like egg hunting or don't have money for it. It's not because something is less efficient that it isn't sought after. Nothing in this is "for free" unless you are the one who is bothered by people getting the shinies they want that way (which btw is the main activity in original games when it comes to shunting). I don't believe in your balancing thing since a lot of rare pokemons got introduced a Lure location meaning they are more easely obtainable. I think Lures are a good addition, I just think it's stupid that starters and some rare locations disappeared, because instead of being an addition in these cases, it became something mandatory, which is kinda dumb to have for the most basic mechanic of the game which is encountering and catching, and is a downgrade to what we had.
  8. I don't think it's a mistake, introducing an item to get more encounters and get new spawns is fine and encourage more single hunting. But Lure is effectively a "paywall", not in the sense that players will have difficulty to climb it or not, but you do unnecessary pay for something that should be free and climb the wall every time since encountering and catching pokemon is the most basic thing in this game. It does have a meaning to "cash grab" because people who are hunting starters are always rich af since they usually go for egg hunting. Premium Lure will only be bought by these players since it's absolutely not worth it for anyone else. This Lure thing benefit these players and casual people who were single hunting starters now have no other choice than to pay for it (it's not gonna be cheap). None of this would be an issue if they kept wild locations without Lure.

Um... yeah, we weren't able to freely catch starters in the wild before... and complete your whole dex in an intuitive way... this (awesome) particularity of PokeMMO being removed is a downgrade to what we had. Before : pokemons. After : pay for pokemons. It's as simple as that and I feel like you're stretching far to try and defend it like it's a mechanic that actually adds something while it effectively removed the most important part. Even the single hunting thing argument is worse, since non-premium give the same rate as before except you now spend money to get simple encounters (it do be faster to get enc but still not worth). In my opinion lure would be absolutely a fine item if it wasn't locking mons from spawning normally.

  12. I also feel like this Dustox one is particularly strong, you can't even hax it out because of its ability. It's also quite easy to "hide", you only really fear rock/fire/flying (rock and flying being easily revealed because of Stealth Rock/ground immunity), and if you bait them to be revealed you can easily setup iron defense or quiver dance depending on their offense attack and it's basically gg. Even Trick/Switcheroo is annoying cos you don't want to do it when you don't know it's set yet (some quiver don't have iron defense) and get Sludge on your mon for nothing. I also think I never lost with this pokemon. I don't know if it will be removed or not because statistics is kinda weak to determine if it's really strong or not because there are an outstanding number of people playing Randoms that have no idea what they are doing and it makes the OP stuff look weak in numbers. Lol.

  19. Too impossible to be true, so I checked on what could be wrong and it turns out the in-game statistics for Randoms does not display the correct level of its current month balancing. Since I did calcs after the fact (cos I thought the damage input was weird and incredibly unlucky - lowest roll possible and enemy surviving at like 1HP) I went for statistics but turns out it's useless tool for randoms as levels are wrong. 43.7% is lowest for level 82, I haven't been able to check Wailord itself but noticed a couple other pokemons levels were off so I just assume it's the case here aswell. @Rache Can you confirm ?
