Hello! I don't have a definitive reason as to why everything's harder, but I can give my best guess. The games were made for a younger audience and thus never really had any challenge to it. I imagine they wanted the game to actually give you a challenge. If you're having a tough time, try grinding to the level cap, change up your team, or maybe even get a pokemon from the gtl. Ice is weak to rock, fighting, fire and steel, so try to use some of those types to help you out! I'm sorry to hear you're struggling though ?

Hello! So it's very easy to change regions. You of course, first pick a starting region (whatever you prefer) then once you get to (vermillion in kanto) (slateport in hoenn) (pastoria in sinnoh) or (castelia city in unova) you'll be able to take a boat to another region. You can hop from regions however much you like once you get to those points without a problem. Talk to an npc kinda dressed like a pirate with a chatot next to them. But lets say you are in kanto, and wanna to to hoenn to get a starter or something then wanna go right back to kanto. You can talk to your mother in hoenn to send you back to your starting region after you get a starter and the pokedex.

Hello! So I know in the original titles, combee had about a 20% chance to be on a honey tree. I've gotten it on trees before, but personally it was pretty fast. I'd say you're just getting unlucky in the rolls. Luckily in pokemmo you only have to wait 1 irl hour unlike the original which was like 8 or something crazy. But I'm sorry to hear about the bad rng. Hello!
This mod is exactly as it sounds. I have changed practically all of the music in kanto, hoenn, sinnoh, and unova (along with the shiny sparkle sound and the evolution sound) to feel more retro.
Most of the tracks are 8bit remakes of their respective songs but some I have switched out all together with those from gen1-2.
Important notes about this mod!!
I did not change everything, I pretty much ignored soundtracks from story mode, since I didn't want the file to be too large. This is especially true for unova.
I did not give individual soundtracks for nighttime in sinnoh, or seasons in unova.
I did not change the soundtracks for the contest hall in hoenn-sinnoh.
I did not edit the individual battle frontier buildings music.
(basically what I'm getting at it that I focused more on the areas you'll be at post E4.)
The shiny sound is from gen 2, however sometimes it plays just a little slower and sometimes it plays normal. There's literally nothing that I can do about it, I already spent around 5 hours trying to make it as consistent and perfect as I could.
Lastly, this is not compatible with android, but if enough people want it to be, I might be able to make that happen.

If you look in the pokedex, you can see all the level up moves that way ^-^

Hello, all movesets follow the learnsets from gen 8. So for example in gen 5, charmander can learn flamethrower at level 37. But in gen 8, it learns it at level 24. In bulbasaurs case he learns vine whip at level 9. But in generation 8, it learns it at level 3. That's why vine whip is a starting move.
The pokemmo wiki, is not something we created. Anything "wiki" is typically something fans do.
