ok so they made a section of the forum for people who wanna show off without guilt so of course im not gonna pass that up
i've done nothing in-game but collect shinies since like 2018 and it's the only thing im rly proud of in-game (my family is also very proud of me. they were super supportive of my decision not to seek out a job or a degree in anything in favor of collecting slightly differently colored exceedingly and exaggeratedly-so rare creatures)
thank you to everyone who i've made friends with along the way and ppl who shared shiny charms and stuff i appreciate you

what do you mean i'm not allowed to >>> shiny hunt <<< this thing because it's only one encounter with an undisclosed shiny rate that you get one shot at, except you're not gonna create thousands of accounts and run through johto thousands of times just to get another shot at finding a shiny legendary?

 
yes it does feel lazy and it needs a new system

pretty irrelevant tbh
im bothered by the fact you cannot effectively hunt shiny legendaries and that they're distributed in the laziest way possible, even if you could only catch one im sure there would be better ways to implement it in a way that allows you to shiny hunt for them
i can still make loads of alts to get as many legendaries as i want to so it's not an exclusive thing
 
hell it's an mmo make it unbearably difficult to grind for just dont make it impossible, see shedinja for example it's a realistic yet extremely difficult hunt, but the point is not a lot of people have it yet it's completely plausible unlike this silly legendary dog right here
