1. Its a very sketchy thing though I can see this being a big issue, where do you draw the line? Do you let people post and ask how much they would pay for or trade for it?  That essentially becomes the same thing as value discussion doesn't it? or those lists to a lesser extent.

If not, how would trade corner work

Isn't it simple? If you do not own what you are advertising, it's false advertising. Don't put a price on something you don't own. If people discuss prices of something not being advertised in these threads, that's just as off-topic as anything else unrelated to what's being sold.

Why just shinies, shouldn't it be everything at all?

It should be everything. As for (comp) pokemon, this is not a huge problem, since you can easily estimate the value of a comp on your own (there have also been made a lot of guides to help with this.) Items, however, should also not have value lists. There is a certain value list in a certain thread in guide tavern that annoys me ever so slightly *cough* GTL guide *cough*

2. if 2 pokemon have +2 priority moves then the faster goes first (ie dragonite unless it's a jumpluff). and fake out does go first for me. im confused.

Did you try using a slower Fake Out? And did you try using a faster Extremespeed? In both cases it's redirected, which is due to the fact that we use gen 5 mechanics.

Based on the lists you posted, you should be aware that Follow Me is the only move in our game that had its priority changed from gen 5 to gen 6. All other changes were made to moves that have not yet been implemented, and probably never will be (Rage Powder, Magic Room and Wonder Room.) So by changing the priority of Follow Me, you are changing the entire priority mechanics to become gen 6. I can't really see the problem here. I was under the impression that gen 6 was the template of most new mechanics in this game, after all.

3. After some experimenting, I have realized that Follow Me currently has a priorty of +3 in this game, unlike generation 6 where it has priority +2. This makes Follow Me even more powerful than it already is and rules out two of the common ways to deal with it. Fake Out has a priority +3, and should always go before Follow Me, allowing you to disrupt the strategies associated with it. As of now, this is only possible if you use a pokemon that is faster than the Follow Me user. Extremespeed has priority +2, and should be able to bypass Follow Me when used by a faster pokemon. As of now, Extremespeed is always redirected by Follow Me, which makes bypassing Follwo Me impossible.

I ask you to change the priority of Follow Me to +2, since this is how it is in generation 6 (for the sake of consistency,) and since it allows for more strategical play in Doubles.

4. The only disadvantage of playing in normal mode is that your Pokemon do not get healed after the battle.

"Let me just pretend that I just read the comment I'm replying to."

Apart from that, I do agree with your comment. After having experienced an unclean disconnection for the first time during a battle, I realized the current system doesn't work. There needs to be a way to save players from a disconnection, as letting the timer go down while you're disconnected simply means that you lose once you disconnect, so the reconnection feature has no actual purpose in PvP. If you wonder why, it's because it will take a while to even realized you have disconnected, before you can even attempt to get back into the game. Reconnecting in less than 2 minutes is a best case scenario, and then you're likely out of time already. A disconnection timer (suggested in another thread) should be looked at.

5. on the side note of this, irrelevent of this, 9800 bp is 1 cb, 1 cb sells for +-200k on gtl, 10k tax is 190k 'profit'. 9800/200=49 49*3750=184k. you'd be stupid to buy vitamins with bp anyway. #ISavedYouTimeAndCreatedAnotherMoneySink\o/

I'd argue the exact opposite. By selling choice bands in order to afford vitamins, you are feeding the market and making it harder to sell those later, when you need to. For a measly 6k save (although you can actually sell choice bands for more, so there is a bit more profit) I would never do that.

Regarding the pros and cons thing, I believe it is way more important to actually provide pros other than "it would make it easier" rather than cons. This case would be an exception, since it's simply a poorly designed system that does nothing but inconvenience players (and the one thing it does, which is waste time/money, could be replaced by higher prices, so it's not an argument)

6. PandaJJ I couldn't think of any cons of making BPs trade-able. If you do, please tell.

It's not like everything must have a "con"

Not everything must have a con, you are correct. My point was that your pro was basically "I'm too lazy to use the BF," which does not justify the suggestion. In fact, if there is any con, it's just that - if BP becomes tradeable, a lot of people might stop using the BF. But also, as I implied earlier, a lot of people might start using BF, so it's really up to how the developers judge it. One of the best way to justify it in my opinion, as you briefly hinted, is that BP is being traded already, but making them tradeable would reduce scam.

7. Isn't Poke Yen a source most people use because they are too lazy to do some things?
By your logic, no one would buy 1x31 ditto, because if you farm them enough you will have the ditto you need. But some people just prefer to use the 20k and buy one off the GTL.
By your logic, GTL is useless. Your logic is flawed in my opinion. I don't need to lie about that, I want to have trade-able BPs because I'm lazy/prefer to spend my time grind PokeMMO in other ways. More people would grind battle points to sell them if they were trade-able. People like me would buy them. There would be a new way to make money, I don't see any problem with it.

Let me give you a quote from an actual staff member:

We get many Suggestions in the Suggestion Box that usually have something along the lines of

Pro: It makes things easier

Con: I can't think of any

As a player, making something easier or better for the player is a no-brainer, who wouldn't want that on an individual level?
But as a designer, when you look at it on a mass scale, is making something easier a good idea? How will it affect the economy? What effect will this have on gameplay?

Well, you did just this. Your way of presenting this suggestion is most likely going to be auto-rejected, because you gave a shitty reason for it. We don't care about your motives, if your suggestion does actually benefit people (which it does,) you should say so. "I can't be bothered" really is just a terrible point.

8. Fair enough, you have a point, sadly, he did not. We don't need more of those suggestions where the main reason for implementing it is "omagash I'm lazy pls nerf or fix this". It's just a bad thinking overall and it gets people nowhere.

I agree, it's bad reasoning, but a good suggestion. Hopefully staff will read further down this thread...

9. Or you can stop being lazy and actually farm them, it's not really that hard. Once you're on a streak, you can farm a lot more to only suffice for your one poke.

And this is coming from a person who's extremely lazy o;

You have to consider those of us who are on the other side of the fence - I'm trying to get rid of my BP, but I can only do so by selling choice bands or teach moves to people who trust me. Tradeable BP also benefits the sellers, not just the buyers.

10. That's not right, first, usually new features are not announced before the changelog is here (unless we're having a PTS); second, I'm not saying that we're going to have it or that we won't - there's no confirmation about this yet, but when it does come this thread will get a [Confirmed] tag so don't worry about that.

Furthermore, Nidoran breeding was a bug, that's why it was announced earlier.

Thank you, that's what I wanted to know. From your first comment it appeared as is if you were not allowed to reveal whether or not it was even confirmed.

On a second note, the fact that you can't buy multiple items at once is such a huge blunder from the developer's side that it should be considered as a bug. It isn't functional at all.

11. We cannot confirm anything is happening; you'll see it in future updates if it should become a thing. As it is right now there's no ETAs .

Of course you can. Other features that are going to be implemented (such as nidoran breeding) already have been. I didn't ask for any ETAs, just a confirmation. So to make sure, you are saying that this has not yet been decided to be implemented? I find it odd that no staff member has made any comment regarding this other than "please don't make pointless comments."

12. While I see the benefits of this, it is commonly abused on chess websites by disconnecting and waste the time of your opponent. However, this is irrelevant in for example tournaments, and having this feature in tournaments would be huge. In theory you could also abuse this to get extra time to think, although this is not that realistic.

One interesting thing I have seen done is allowing the ability to give your opponent extra time. For example, if your opponent is about to run out of time, but the game is very interesting, you could give him/her extra time to see how it plays out. If however you suspect that your opponent is disconnecting because he/she is a sore loser, you do not have to give him/her extra time. This solution does not work in tournaments or rated games to prevent losing due to a dc, since your opponent will just let you lose on time in order to advance in the bracket or gain rating.

In any case, if this should be implemented it should be separate disconnection timer rather than simply stopping your time. For example you could have a seperate 2 minute timer that only ticks when you are offline.

13. Pory is on the list with Tentacruel with pokemon that are viable, but niche. On that note, I think I will not do a write-up on Tentacruel after all, just finish the current list.

Swampert:

Base stats: 535 (100/110/90/85/90/60)

-Swampert has very well-balanced stats and an amazing typing. Being able to somewhat deal with Metagross, Tyranitar, Aerodactyl and the dragons makes Swampert a threat to look out for. Furthermore, resistance to poison and immunety to electric allows it to switch in to the STAB moves of the strongest special attackers in the game, Gengar and Jolteon. Swampert is a Pokemon that tends to stay around and hits a lot of things for super effective damage.
-Although it does take Sludge Bombs, it does not take Giga Drains or even Shadow Balls from Gengar very well. In general, grass pokemon like Ludicolo and Venusaur totally shuts it down, as well as the occasional HP Grass Jolteon. Swampert’s speed is very poor, so it’s also prone to being double targeted by strong attackers.
'Special' Attacker
Item: Sitrus Berry / Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 108 Def / 148 SAtk

• Ice Beam / Blizzard
• Muddy Water / Hydro Pump
• Earthquake
• Protect / Toxic

The merit of running a special-based set is that you can work around Intimidate. This spread makes sure that your attacks are not too weak - it is modeled after getting a OHKO with Ice Beam on non-invested Salamence, and it also gets a OHKO on Aerodactyl with Hydro Pump. It does take physical hits, especially Rock Slides. It survives two Dragon Claw from +1 Salamence with Sitrus Berry, which should give you an idea of it’s natural bulk. Do also note that Swampert’s water moves hit really hard when Torrent is activated. Finally, Toxic is a gimmick option for things like Blissey, Slowbro and other bulky waters.

‘Physical' Attacker
Item: Sitrus Berry / Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Atk / 76 Def

• Earthquake
• Rock Slide
• Ice Beam / Ice Punch
• Protect / Superpower / Toxic

This is similar to the above set, but with physical investment instead. While this set hits much harder with Earthquake, as well as being able to take advantage of Rock Slide, it is very weak to intimidate. It does have the power to 2HKO standard Metagross with Earthquake, 2HKO Aeridactyl with Rock Slide, if it is not intimidated. It is recommended to run Ice Beam despite being weaker than Ice punch for this reason. This set also has the power to OHKO Tyranitar with Superpower, if you really want that.
14. There are a few points here:

Items not selling at average price: If this happens, it means that the "average price" is too high. In other words, the demand is so low that the additions of cheaper items happens more frequently than the item is bought. Since we are at the start of GTL, prices are still stabilizing, and are not garuanteed to be the same as they used to. However, due to this, there should be an option to lower the prices of listed items without paying extra tax.

Restriciton on items due to layout problems: As you have noted, GTL is borderline useless when you don't use the search feauture. When you go on GTL to buy items, you need to know what you're looking for. If you want everstone you should search everstone with the lowest prices first, not scroll thrugh newest items in hopes there might be a cheap everstone. If this doesn't work in your game, I can see how GTL is terrible for you. I see no change needed.

@Desu: Items advanced search function: YES! Filtering out vanity items from the rest is perhaps the most useful part of this, but it would also be used to "buy low, sell high"-people to filter out type-boosting items etc, which sell for a lot.

15. (rip berry sink)

There is no berry sink in the Battle Frontier as of now, since the current system makes berries practically useless (lum berry could be useful to remove some rng, but mostly not.) The only thing the current system does is discouraging players from using berries in the Battle Frontier at all. There might be a reason for this, seing as salac berry, sitrus berry, chesto berry and lum berry are all potentially very powerful. If not, I would support one of the above suggestion to make it possible to replenish berries.

16. Praying for no errors this time around:

Blastoise

Base stats: 530 (79/83/100/85/105/78)

-With access to the supportive moves Fake Out and Follow Me, good defenses and a nice typing, Blastoise is a top tier bulky water in doubles. It is possibly the best pokemon to have next to a set-up pokemon like Salamence, Dragonite or Tyranitar.
-Like other Follow Me users, Blastoise does not stop spread moves from hitting its partner, which can be problematic. Rock Slide, Earthquake, Surf and Explosion are amoing the options you can use to hit its partner, at which point Blastoise becomes useless. It also has limited offensive options, so be careful of not letting it become a sitting duck.
Support Turtle
Item: Sitrus Berry / Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 92 SDef
• Follow Me
• Fake Out
• Icy Wind / Blizzard
• Muddy Water / Protect
This set is your only reason to use Blastoise. Fake Out plus Follow Me allows you to disrupt the opponent from attacking your partner. Icy Wind is for slowing them down, while Blizzard is a more offensive option to get 2HKOs on stuff like Salamence without worrying about opposing Blastoise. Muddy Water is your better STAB move, which can both disrupt with accuracy drops and take advantage of Torrent. Protect can be nice to stop the opponent from simply focusing down on Blastoise with Thunderbolts and Giga Drains. The Sitrus Berry allows Blastoise to take some surprising hits, while leftovers will pay off more in the long run. The spread optimizes the bulk on both sides, but can be changed by preference. For the most part Blastoise will just use Follow Me, while using the other moves to wiggle out of difficult situation.
EDIT: Spoiler is messed up, no idea how to fix
