Looking forward to the legendary birds of Kanto and the regis of Hoenn.

It seems Aurora Beast Mane won. Most people bought Volcano Beast Wings, and Thunder Beast Daopao is not that flashy. We also already have the unity capes (mainly the green one, that matches best with Aurora Beast Mane in my opinion).
-
Well, I admit. I didn't buy all the ocarinas, but that one would be enough to make me buy them all.
This probably shows how futile I can be.
-
I noticed that too, and I don't know why. But there isn't much beyond that wall either.

Thank you for the answer. Apparently it was wasted time...

Can any dev confirm if it's possible to find suicune in the national park? I've been trying to find him for hours and nothing...
I already know he doesn't appear in the safari zone.

Hi. :)
I think it's a good team. I just don't think it makes much sense to have close combat and drain punch on Conkeldurr. I would choose one of these attacks and put another one of another type.
I would also think of ways to counter pokemons with ice attacks, due to dragonite and gliscor.

That also happened to me. It is not necessary to capture all pokemons of a specific generation.
What you need to do is change the option that says national dex to kanto/hoenn/sinnoh/unova dex and capture the pokemons that appear in that option (some of them from different generations). It's not necessary to catch any legendary pokemon.

What do you guys mean by "grass patch" and how this effect gym rematches? Can someone explain please?:)
"Grass patch" is an item that unlocks the HA (hidden ability) of a grass starter pokemon.
When you complete the pokedex you receive patches depending on the starters you chose. Choosing Chikorita will get you a grass patch. The only difference is that this patch is worth more than the fire and water patches (because it can be used on Serperior).

Every time I play Johto I always start Cyndaquil. But for the grass patch I might have to pick Chikorita
I feel you...
However, despite the grass patch and the fact that I already have two Typhlosions (for gym reruns) I will have to choose Cyndaquil.- First because the starter is forever. And I manage to pay the patch difference in 1-2 hours of gym reruns (despite being lazy).
- Second, I really want my rival to have Feraligatr (for nostalgia when I want to rebattle him).
-
So, just for fun: which starter will you choose?

Mewtwo also wont count towards OT Pokedex progression
Just everything you can catch in the wild c:
Hi.
Actually I just managed to complete my OT pokedex of kanto (in my alt account), except seeing zapdos and mewtwo, and I didn't get the patch...
Apparently I have to see them too.

I'm going to enjoy the story, and try to feel as much nostalgia as possible.
I'll only rush it if there's a big advantage (like an event or something) to completing the story quickly. Alpha hordes won't be enough for that. We'll all have years to capture the new alphas that come along.
However, I confess that I already have a good team prepared to start the story in Johto. So it shouldn't take too long.
Also, at the time I played Pokémon Soul Silver on my Nintendo DS, I didn't know english so i didn't understand the story well at the time. It will be amazing to play it again in my language.

Lately the pokedex has taken some time to update. When new alpha pokemons appear (during events), some of them only appear in the alpha pokedex in the next update.
I also believe the staff has been focused on the recent update (with the PC and GTL UI changes) and Johto (slated for this spring). However, they recently added pokemons that were not yet in the alpha pokedex, so the pokedex is not forgotten.
For now use the alpha pokedex and GTL. As far as I know, only blaziken didn't gain HA.

Staff: How are we going to update the game's UI?
Someone: How about putting a button in each corner of the filters window?
Staff: Perfect!Also:
Staff: On pc, we put the preview of pokemons on the left side of the window. What can we put on the right side?
Someone: How about putting a duplicate party next to the other?

Hi.
This might help you: https://pokemonref.com/location
Also, some locations like Mirage Tower (in Hoenn) may have limited access.
Have fun.

In PokéMMO you can change Hidden Power type by using a stack of 40 gems (ex: 40 fire gem will change Hidden Power to fire).
Ditto copies its opponent’s stats (bar HP) when switching in, making 31 IV in HP the only stat you need to make it viable (beside Ditto vs Ditto or Ditto vs Zoroark matchups).Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
IVs: 31 HP / 0 Spe
Sassy Nature

Hi,
I know that, thank you for the answer.
About Hidden Power, you can't change it for Ditto, because he only learns that move when he is transformed into another pokemon.
You need to have the desired IVs.

Hello,
From my understanding, the only pokemon that is not possible to breed for competitive use is Ditto. Which is very sad.
The reason would be that if you manage to breed them, it would break the way the other pokemons are breed (through the egg groups).
However, with the coming of gracideas and nature herbs for shaymin (and unown), it would be possible to do something similar with Ditto.
My suggestion is:
- Create items that work like gracideas and nature herbs for ditto, with a value between 100k and 350k (perhaps bought through BPs in Battle Frontier). This item could not be planted.
- Create another item that works for Shiny Dittos, with a price between 1M and 1.6M (similar to the value of a shiny pokemon). Also not plantable.
This way, we could finally get a desirable Ditto without needing a luck of 1/21.300.088.344 (including nature and Hidden Power) and without affecting the breed system of the remaining species.
Could this be considered?
Thank you for your attention.

I think it's ok. It can be a way to overcome some language barrier, in case someone in the chat recognizes the item by another name.
Sometimes it's frustrating to see an item's link and then read WTB and not WTS... but that's life. You can always try to avoid that.
I also liked the way you responded to the other player.

Arceus KOTH in Johto, in alpha ruins??
What happens if the person who got Arceus battles the person who got Lugia? The winner gets which one to follow him?
