My current rank of possibilities (most likely -> least likely):
 
1. Gen 4 With Darkshade's region
2. Gen 4 with Sinnoh region
3. Gen 5 with Darkshade's region
4. Gen 5 with Unova region
5. Dungeon region (a defined Darkshade region) with legendaries. Remain in gen 3 pokemon.
5. We're being trolled
6.  Johto region with legendaries
7. Gen 6 or Gen 7

Gen 5 its not that bad, but i agree that it would be a little weird traveling from region to region

Hope it is actually soon, the forums and the game feels like its becoming stagnant. The only thing that seems to move is PSL.

Please define "Soon®" and express it in either days, weeks or months.

What I expect to see is dungeons populated with gen 4 pokemon

Can anyone actually show me any evidence that SINNOH is what we're getting?? Seriously all this garbage about Sinnoh this Sinnoh that but I only see evidence for Unova so far. Seriously why would Kyu post a bridge from Unova if we are getting Sinnoh? All these players basically confirming Sinnoh in their heads and posts but not a shred of evidence for it except that troll comment by Kyu from like a month ago. Do you really think a troll comment outweighs an update post for everyone to see before they log into the game? If anything the comment Kyu made today about wanting to go as recent as possible confirms Unova further. I feel like people are completely disregarding this possibility and this thread will look ridiculous in the trash when the update drops.

I was just concerned about the older player base who may want to come just for Gen 3. Personally, I kind of like some of the Gen 4 pokemon, so I can try to give Gen 4 a chance. I know I am changing my tune, but I feel that the devs know what their doing with this and I am not a dev. I wish the devs well in their Gen 4 implementation! Good Luck!

We'd go straight to Alola if we could. Unfortunately, everything about the 3DS is a mystery, so that'll have to come later on.
 
Edit; As well as the 3D modeling of player characters means we'd have to redo all of our hats

He's just trying to give his opinion, not everybody agree and feel frustation, the worse thing you can do is blaming someone for giving an opinion.
 
I want sinnoh badly though \o/

These game changing updates kill games for some people, sadly thats the case for a few of us. But rather than complain i think its better to just accept the decisions made and move on. After all its not our game and devs can do whatever they think its best for their game.
