  1. Pretend you set your B button to be X, if you type this letter on Trade Chat/GTL it doesn't work, heavily restricting you from typing/searching for a certain item or Pokemon. I'm personally finding this extremely frustrating and hope it will be reversed. Is anyone else experiencing the same?
  2. You people do not have a basic fundamental of what makes a healthy economy.
  3. I low key hope it doesn't release tomorrow, please take your time with it ❤️
  4. I think because we have loads of vanity items like the dragon, tiger, rabbit, and werewolf masks, we should have an option to be able to identify our gender as an animal
  5. As much as I'm open to inclusiveness, this is just a game, with all due respect we don't need PokeMMO to be all politically correct.
  6. Instead of just wishing for new regions which people will get bored of after completing in a few days, I'd rather existing features get worked on such as: Implementing Pokemon Contests in either Hoenn or Sinnoh Implementing the Battle Frontier that has a high difficulty and rewards prizes based on how many times you complete each run and defeat each boss (in the mainstream games you had the silver and gold medals) Implementing the Sinnoh Underground Implementing the Unova Battle Subway Continuing to balance out PvP and PvE mechanics Create some interesting activites in existing places (e.g. Black/White City in Unova) No Kalos, BW2, Fairy types, etc... just complete existing features and add new events.
  7. I personally support this idea. Not many people will remember and if I recall correctly, but the original purpose of the Shiny Existence Thread was to identify when the first ever of a particular shiny was found. At the time it was created, there were several rare shinies which had never been encountered before, from Hoenn starters, Ralts, Castform etc. Bear in mind we didn't have gen 5 mons, Unova etc. Now that pretty much every shiny has been found and most people use the thread to flex their own shinies, I think we should adapt and have our own shiny diary on the Forums here.
  8. But that's the thing, even though communication could be better, once they do communicate an update, people latch onto that and hold it against them like ransom.
  9. That's the MMO community for you, I'll guarantee once it comes out people will complain about how "this wasn't implemented" and "that wasn't implemented" or "it was too easy" and try to justify the delay for why it should've been better. You'll also get another large section of the community complaining how easy/boring the region is, and the remainder immediately starting to beg for BW2, Kalos or other unrealistic stuff.
  10. Regardless of whether we want Milotic to drop or not, as far as I recall once the Pokemon are listed here no other changes will occur (unless TC decide to test Pokemon currently in BL1 or BL2 which are below the cut-off point) I'm sure it'll drop down next month anyway especially with the new batch of HAs coming
  11. Before mods remove my comment, this person got so out of control he's no longer in the MMO Discord, so now he's turned his gibberish on the Forums.
  12. Happy with these changes, thanks for trialing out the new system. Hopefully these numbers help to make the tiers more stable going forwards.
  13. Bro you're replying to a thread 4 years ago ...
  14. Yeah, MMO doesn't officially have an ubers category, so anything which becomes uber (Gallade in this instance) will end up having some kind of nerf to it, whether that's removing Sharpness, reducing the base power of Sacred Sword or anything else appropriate. Garchomp and Hydreigon were in ubers at one point, where they then had Swords Dance and Draco Meteor removed respectively before dropping back to OU. Wobbuffet was another example, nerfing it that its ability was only valid for 3 turns, etc...
  15. +1 I hope that I can get a free Desu Lab Coat if I find a shiny magikarp
  16. Actually unless I'm mistaken, this is the change which is going to take place starting from this month: 1st month Move Down Cutoff Point: 3.00% Move Up Cutoff Point: 5.50%% 2nd month Move Down Cutoff Point: 2.50% Move Up Cutoff Point: 6.00% 3rd month Move Down Cutoff Point: 3.75% Move Up Cutoff Point: 4.75% So we'll likely see some changes sooner and it got implemented at the right time with new HAs coming out as well.
  17. Following on from Sargeste's reply, I think it's pretty unfair to thoroughly assess Venusaur at this stage. Currently, the most popular set is the standard one which was being used before the HA got introduced, and you have Gigalith which is pretty common right now meaning that with the instant sand pressure it's a lot more difficult to set up the Chlorophyll set which is what the majority of people were concerned about. I think more people are concerned about Venomoth right now, with Gigalith helping to keep this in check alongside having it's own advantages/problems. If/when Venomoth and Gigalith rise back to UU, you'll likely start to see more versatile Venusaur sets being used as that pressure is no longer there, and then I feel we can assess it properly. TLDR - It's best not to assess Venusaur until next month when Venomoth/Gigalith will most likely rise to UU.
  18. Right now we have this, which gets updated every month: It's not 100% accurate though since there's top Chinese teams which don't enter (e.g. Exu) - you can find these here: https://forums.pokemmo.com/index.php?/forum/398-guild-wall-chinese/
  19. I'm sorry but this is just extremely ridiculous. It seems like there's a consistent pattern of swapping between ruining UU and NU making the tiers unplayable. Whether it was Porygon-Z and Porygon2 in UU, Dugtrio in NU, there just seems to be a trend of taking it in turns to mess up what should be the most fun and versatile tiers into a huge shitfest. Thank you to TC for banning Shaymin and the community removing Salamence from UU (yes we still have Crawdaunt), but now we've all decided to bring back Venomoth to NU when we still have key threats such as Sharpedo, Cloyster, Azumarill and Scrafty (people disagree with me on this one). Gigalith is also a huge one (people justifying this as the reason to bring back Venomoth), as it shuts down a lot of special attacking threats due to its bulk whilst killing them in return (e.g. Typhlosion, Houndoom, Magmortar, Alakazam(?)), also shutting down Ninjask, Scyther and other threats, whilst also enabling potential sweepers such as Stoutland and Sandslash(?) with the sand boost. Don't even get me started on bringing Venusaur, which we've heard nothing about, with the potential of having weather wars which was a huge issue in UU at the time (admittedly we currently don't have a reliable sun setter in NU right now). TC will think I'm sarcastic here, but at this point we may as well bring back Roserade to suspect test if we're planning to return Venusaur to NU. I mean we're happy to drop down new threats whilst not dealing with existing ones, so hey what's the problem? Also I've seen people ask to bring back Porygon-Z in UU - I personally don't have any issues with testing this since the new changes, but is the timing right now that we're going to see Gigalith receive a huge rise in NU usage thanks to Venomoth? I'm sure this will fall on death ears, but enjoy the shitfest NU will bring in the new season, it's only going to get better(worse) when the new HAs and legendaries come out in the Johto update (which TC already likely know about). And even if NU is now magically fixed, people'll just shift their attention into messing with UU, since hey, that's the pattern we like to follow right? We can't have 3 stable tiers at any one time.
