I don't think they want the circle jerk to be that local. Also why would they have it on forums? Everyone on the forums presumably already plays or has played the game. It's for advertising. The staff aren't sitting there saying "Wow. I wish I knew who our best player was. I really want to give back to the community!". Edit: Having said that, I think the staff really took a misstep here. It's pretty obvious how autistic the PokeMMO community is. Friends tend to be a prerequisite for Facebook.

Not unless we're getting the entirety of gen 4, otherwise keep that sort of shit out. People will have enough of a challenge just getting the few new competitive Pokemon being introduced to their respective tiers after this update because of how difficult breeding is now. Now we have to rebreed and re-ev the old ones too?

Until they figure this out, I'm sure as hell not going to send any of my breeders to slaughter.

Actually I'll add to that before I go to bed, just since you're on now. I would absolutely love it if you guys delayed the update for 2 weeks just to get the gender choosing in with it. Releasing this breeding system without that feature would be awful.
