Upvote. I'd even differentiate between trainers. E.g. amulet coin gives 100 points. With each trainer battle points are consumed based on payout. Gym leaders / Morimoto: 4 points Rich boyz / ladies, ...: 3 points Other trainers: 1-2 points Tuberz, Swimmers: 0 points

There's one issue, that bothers me: Dying should give back at least some PP. It feels incredibly frustrating, when your team (especially 2 member ones) has used up (almost) all PPs for the damaging moves and you die (i.e. you messed up or got super unlucky at a bad time). Then it doesn't matter how many lives you still got - you don't have a chance to get to the shrine. IMHO you should at least have a chance to win the 3 required battles - somewhere between 5-10 PP per move. I know, you can play around it, have a bigger team (4 members), better PP management, change mons more often, etc. ... But when you mess up - the time you spend burning through the rest of your lives is just having a bad time. :-(

No. I did all the ribbons on a couple of my OT shinies and gift shinies - for decoration of the shinies and the reward for the hard challenge. https://imgur.com/a/Ur8k7 Getting those battle tower ribbons on a Tangela is quite hard. The reward for this was the collection of ribbons. Don't take them away from me and my shinies!

I think this point needs adjustment or at least clarification. If for example the first event ends like this: Player A with 170 points (165 + 5 species bonus) Player B with 168 points (163 + 5 species bonus) Player C with 167 points (167 + 0 species bonus) Player D with 166 points (166 + 0 species bonus) Then the 2 entries for overall leadership would be Player A (165) and Player B (163)? Now what if there is no Player B? Player A with 170 points (165 + 5 species bonus) Player C with 167 points (167 + 0 species bonus) Player D with 166 points (166 + 0 species bonus) Then Player A wins the event and is second in the race for overall leadership? I guess that could lead to a lot of confusion.

Hi everyone, I would like some advise in how to properly train my new Shiny Jynx as competitive as possible. Let me introduce: Shiny Jynx Level 60 (Female and Oblivious as all Jynxes if I'm not mistaken) Nature: Relaxed IVs: HP 25 Attack 5 Defense 16 Sp.Atk 7 Sp.Def 18 Speed 19 So the Nature is not what is usually desired for competitive Jynx, but I want to make the best of it. With Relaxed I tend to try something less speedy and more bulky. The item I plan on holding is Leftovers. I worked out two EV training plans. When I add stats they are for lv.50 (I gathered that's where the battles usually are done at. Please correct me if I'm wrong.) EV training 1: EVs Stats HP 52 144 Attack - 57 Defense 176 77 Sp.Atk 252 155 Sp.Def 24 112 Speed 6 99 With this Nature, speed training is too costly. The first point is easy though. Defense is raised to profit from the Nature. HP training enough for 9 Leftover regeneration HPs/turn. Special attack maxed and rest on Special Defense. EV training 2: EVs Stats HP 180 160 Attack - 57 Defense 176 77 Sp.Atk 148 142 Sp.Def 0 109 Speed 6 99 Here the HP training is higher: 10 Leftover regeneration HPs/turn. Special Attack and Special Defense are lower. I'm not sure, which of these two I prefer. What do you think is better? Or should I EV train completely differently? The moveset I gathered as "best possible" is: Ice Beam, Psychic, Calm Mind, Lovely Kiss Alternatives would be: Shadow Ball (btw. Jynx's Hidden Power would be Ghost) Substitute Alternative Item: Nevermelt Ice I know this Jynx won't break any OU or UU tournament, but I still would like to make the best of it. Please help with advise! Btw: I assume, I can train and evolve my Jynx to level 100 and still do level 50 competition battles (the pokemon will somehow be "scaled down"!?). Thanks for reading!

Hello everyone!

Not that it matters anymore, but there were a lot of NevermeltIces at the North Pole.

I started just to play a game together with my sister and my girlfriend. (My sister got us hooked.) My goal atm. is to breed and raise at least one competitive OU pokemon (including gatherin all relevant information) to get a feeling what this tournament thing must feel like.

Also a big thanks from me! The North Pole was a lot of fun. The difficulty of the puzzles was about right - not too hard, while not auto-solving. The wild hordes were an unexpected addition. Hoping for more of that. Maybe with 4x Pokemon_X and 1x Pokemon_Y. The pickup rate in the cave felt quite high. Got a lot of Kings Rocks, NevermeltIces, Mystic Waters, Water Stones, etc. just from battling. More than Tiny Robot Parts ;-) The boss fight was a bit on the easy side. One question here: After the battle it said, that I got a christmas tree decoration item for the secret base. But I haven't been to Hoenn yet. And I don't know where to look up my secret base decoration items. Will I find the christmas tree among my decoration items when I'll finally get there, or is it lost because I didn't have a secret base before battling Robot Santa? PS: Thanks for the opportunity to get my North Pole Shiny Jynx.
