Dream Ball VS Timer Ball

I've seen those Players are using Dream Ball & the Current Best Catch on Alpha & Roaming Legendary is Timer Ball, is Dream Ball the New Best Catcher or will it still be Timer Ball?

Dream ball needs the pokemon to be asleep for multiple turns. Each turn that they are asleep they have a chance to wake up, so you will almost never get 100% of the 4x catch rate multiple turns in a row. But if the battle goes on for 11(?) turns the timer ball has the full 4x catch rate and that never changes from then on.

If it hasn't reached turn 11 yet and the pokemon happens to have been sleeping for 3 turns, then you can justify using a dream ball if they are at 1hp. But after turn 11 there is no reason to use the dream ball since it's best case scenario has already been met by the timer balls requirements. May as well just use the timer ball at that point.

The best ball for alphas is a love ball. 62.33% catch chance if 1hp asleep
31.16% for max timer ball and dream ball but both 1200 and timer ball can be used more often due to the sleep requirement.

From my tests: Its random, it depends the alpha instance. Some alphas are more easy to catch with timer ball, others with dream ball, it does not depend on which pokimon it is, but thats decided randomly so you should use both.
