Eggplant
If you're speaking english in global, and someone whispers you in chinese, and you reply to them in chinese, it auto changes your language to chinese. ...But it won't auto change you back to english when you type in global in english again. Meaning you have to manually set your language back to english everytime you spoke chinese in a whisper. Whispers and teamchat should be exempt from language channels anyways, so I suggest language detection simply doesn't occur in private chats. TohnR, Quilachy, WildHodor and 3 others 6 Link to comment
0 TohnR
I thought this was due to displaying the chinese characters. I mean that you can't possibly display those while your language isn't chinese. But I haven't tried myself, simply assumed. Maybe those chinese ideograms aren't in the character table used for all other languages ? Good suggestion anyways, it's annoying to have to change every single time, even more when discussing on global while whispering chinese folks. Link to comment
