Thunderpunch is not really needed, since Kanga hits about any water type harder with Return (except for Kabutops/Omastar). Return/Double Edge - will deal a good amount of neutral damage to most pokemon Crunch - hits ghosts and psychics (hurts the latter harder than return) Earthquake - hits the annoying rock types and Steelix These three have perfect coverage, unless I am forgetting something crucial. For the 4th slot, you can get creative. Rest will help you heal up on less offensive opposition, Focus Punch will help you catch some Fable/Umbreon off guard, while Power-up punch will help you get to +2 attack while in Mega form.

Actually, with the boosted payouts, it's possible to make well over 1m (with Amulet Coin, not including item values, without a Meowth) from an alt run if you don't skip every trainer and if you do both regions. It is arguably producing far too much money.

Comparing Blissey to Snorlax... Blissey is mainly played for her supporting moves whereas Snorlax runs mainly offensive moves (except whirlwind). Of course the offensive presence of lax with this huge body slhax can help a team, but the supporting moves of Blissey are needed to make a very viable team. This comparaison to say that lax should be banned is kind of stupid. Here is the real problem : this metagame semi 4G semi 3G is not balanced. Special attackers don't have things like Focus blast, Choice spec... to threaten an incoming lax while this fat boy won some more coverage with the physical/special split of 4G. Then, he can come in game really easily. Moreover, he won a punishing pursuit, which can destroy weak special attackers. Add to all of this Curselax, and this is a big threat. But curselax alone isn't that OP. Just run supporting moves, and you will be able to deal with it (I agree it will be more difficult if snorlax is the last pokemon ingame...). Something OP is Magneton + Curselax. This is like a noob strategy, quite simple to establish, uncompetitive, and very punishing. (Ban those shits of ability trappers instead of making Spikes threads)

What are Swarms? Swarms are a limited period of time where a Pokemon can be caught outside of it's usual encounter spot and/or at a higher encounter rate. You will be able to catch some of the harder to obtain Pokemon a little more easily if a swarm of them appears. Swarms were recently reworked in the 2015 update so current durations of swarms and what Pokemon appear in swarms are currently unknown. If you find a swarm please post in this thread with screenshot proof. How to tell if there is a Swarm? Swarms are announced on the televisions in NPC houses. Can you catch a shiny in a Swarm?
