You don't need any particular team to beat the kids, just a lvl 100 pokemon should be able to beat them all (I used Gengar and Dragonite) And about the fact boss changed, it does every year, so if you invested on a specific team for last year's boss then you're at fault for over preparing without knowing if the event will even happen. It only makes sense that if they made the boss fight much harder, they'd also make rare candies decrease in price so you get more attempts to beat the boss, and to do that the logical solution is to put guaranteed drops. I'm not saying this change is good, but it makes sense

@gbwead Both are as "mentionnable" (I'll avoid "relevant" cause not used much) for UU even if you dislike it, their options are just different. Do you need someone to explain to you why he used Hitmonchan instead of Top ?
