•  To win this event you need to submit an entry that has the highest score or the lowest score to win. 
• You may submit your highest iv shiny as well as lowest iv entries. Yes, it is possible to win both!
• All Pokemon must have been caught within the event time. 
• As this is a catching event, breeding will NOT be allowed
• Pokemon must be the player's OT.
• You may submit your entries any time from September 10th- September 25th. But remember you may only submit two entries!
• To Submit your entry, post it in the temporary event channel on discord with a screen shot of all the following pages of your pokemon summary: Proof of OT, Proof of IVs, Proof of Catch Date
• Please leave your entries unchanged until the end of the event (specifically breeding)
• In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined through the earliest catch time. (required to link in game)

Jumpluff: April 2013. caught as a hoppip. Hunted for in on isle 5, memorial pillar.

 

Crobat: 2014. (dont remember exact time, I bred it since) caught as a zubat in mt moon on my way to ev train against paras.

 

Gyarados: 2014. (Don't remember exact time, I bred it since) wasn't hunting for this, was checking hidden power types on my hatched eevees vs magikarp when the shiny poppped up.

 

Fearow: May 2014 nothing to special about this guy. Walked in the grass island 7 and it popped up.

Eevee: July 2020. The dream. Started this hunt end of 2012 with alt runs to the eevee spot. Then with the implementation of breeding i switched to eggs. through lots of breeding changes I kept spamming, quit the game a few time but always came back. Was a great day when it hatched

 

Aerodactyl: May 2023. Did this shunt through eggs and fossils (mostly eggs) but got in 34k encounters

The season just started, everyone was at 500 elo again. So its not that weird to go below 500 elo (because you are facing high level players at 500 elo)

And you can say he bullied a noob playing story, but you get those in ou too and still get matchmaking points at the end. Guy had to waste a flying gem on the noob and got nothing.

 

But yes matches dont generally end at turn 5, but even in high elo there are people who forfeit by turn 4 when they recognize they can't win. You still lose any consumable resources in those turns (berries/gems) while getting nothing back. Yes you get elo, but elo doesnt help you get the vanity.

 Opponent never "gave up" he just lost the match.

You should not get punished for winning a game too fast (forfeit or not) 

In dubs you can lose pokemon a lot faster. I havent played dubs matchmaking in a pretty long time, but it happened too often that people forfeit early. And I get it, cuz why wait for turn 5 when you know you will lose, but its a pretty bad system for the dubs format.
