Summary tab for eggs only, maybe? In normal games, there was a page in summary that indicated how close it was to hatching iirc.

I mean it's normal to charge 100-150k for dex entries but if someone finds you and battles you it should be fair game. Relying on a glitch to hold on to a legendary unless someone pays you however is bug abuse (and also extorting new players when you charge 400-500k but there's no rules against that I guess so meh), and bug abuse is grounds for a ban isn't it? @Rache

It definitely is. And there's specific people who use it to extort money, telling people without the dex entry they'll give them the dex entry for 400-500k, otherwise they keep abusing this bug to hold on to legendaries when their hiding spot ends up being found. @Kyu @Desu that's punishable right?

Yeah lately there's been a super long max time limit on keeping a hold of legendaries if you take it and hide, like really long. I've seen people hide with ray/mewtwo for over an hour or even more without a single system announcement. So a simple chat command to check availability wouldn't hurt for those hunting for them. This is a multi-stage catching event consisting of 6 separate stages within the region of Hoenn. The first to link a valid entry for each stage will be given the details for the next stage! Date/Time Saturday, November 21 12:00 noon EST | 17:00 UTC Time Zone Converter (click me) Starting Location Battle Pike, Hoenn, Ch.1 (The giant Seviper) Directions: RULES There will be six stages total. At the beginning of the event, the first Pokemon to catch will be announced by the host via normal chat inside the Battle Pike. To learn what Pokemon they need to catch in the next stage, participants must enter the Battle Pike and link an eligible entry via normal chat. Anyone cheating or sharing information to other participants who haven't reached that stage will be disqualified. Anyone entering an invalid entry will be disqualified (duh!). You must link your entry to the host via normal chat for your entry to be considered valid. All Pokémon must be caught after a player has been told that round's entry and within the region of Hoenn. Yes it does >:( I pay attention to all my hatch locations and make sure they're perfect, how dare you ;-; Also, ooh a compilation of all accessible locations to hatch in doesn't seem like a bad idea at all! Might actually post that. So far I just end up googling "List of all locations in Pokemon Fire Red/Emerald/Platinum/BW" and deciding where to hatch a pokemon from that list. Pokemmo also has two special locations, one that leaves the hatch location blank and the other that says "--------------------". Best place to hatch ghosts/rotom if u ask me.

At this point I feel like nothing's gonna get through to the people supporting this suggestion and they're just gonna keep retorting with the same replies in bigger and bigger letters every time, like they have been for the past 30 or so replies, and they won't drop the "us vs you" mentality despite us being one community. It's p obvious they're not gonna understand (or bother reading the whole thing) let alone agree, and this argument's getting really stale. Can staff just close the thread and let devs decide whether they wanna do this or not? It's taking up valuable suggestion space by repeatedly coming back to the top of the subforum.

The only reason I haven't released it yet is because walking all the way to the PC is too much effort to put in for a worthless pokemon like that tbh

Title is self explanatory. It would save a lot of hassle and it's a mechanic available in normal games, so why not? I always keep the 6th slot in my party open in case anyone needs a trade evolution, and sometimes I catch things I don't like and having to go all the way to the PC to release something is a lot of work for something that should be as easy as rightclic release. Definitely a QOL improvement I'd love to see one day!

If you let someone on the internet's bad attitude get to you, then you need to work on yourself. Remember they're a stranger behind a screen playing a POKEMON GAME. And that they're probably sad/angry because nothing good happens in their lives so they just angrily take it out on their computer to feel good about themselves. Either laugh of those people or realize it doesn't actually affect you if you don't let it, and move on. Your attitude is what dictates things, friend, not other people. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I don't see the difference. Unless what you care about is credit and "fame". Which you shouldn't be taking anyway cause I can promise you there are 0 strategies to defeat pumpking that are original (unless you're using a choice specs sunflora, oh wait, I already did that). If people spectate you and learn, be happy that you're officially a player that's good enough for people to learn from. Be happy that you're leading the way to help people. It's a good feeling and you can only feel good if you stop worrying so much about inconsequential things like credit or fame or pokeyen :) I promise it's worth it. Let it all go. That's a you problem. That's his problem. Just trust that karma will bite him in the butt or just that he won't get anywhere in life constantly doing stuff like that. Not your problem. Also a you problem. Let it go, dude. Life's so much happier and more fun when you care about the good things. More people will respect you and like you if you do too, in case fame is still all you care about. Remember: everything you do in pokemon is stale and something that's been done thousands of times before. Let it go, be a good person, and people will defend you and give you credit without you being there. This whole post is people getting mad about inconsequential things in a pokemon game that don't even matter in the grand scheme of the game let alone anything else. I hope you realize that one day and figure out how to be happy, Cause trust me, with this attitude, monopolizing pumpking strats won't make you happy either.
