  1. I don't know if I'm willing to write a 1 billion words post in the defense of Gallade, but I don't think the solution to any problem is rushing to a decision. The fact that other tiers are being ignored IS an issue, but it isn't because it's taking too long to take care of Gallade, but because there should be different people taking care of different tiers. Also the fact that Gallade defenders aren't writing so much is understandable from the fact that while whoever wants it banned, wants to see it gone ASAP, people who think that it is fine aren't pushed to post a lot about something they don't feel much towards. In addition to this, while it wasn't presented here, I have shown some little counterplay to Gallade. I'm sorry but this doesn't make sense. The "problem" with gallade is how strong and hard to switch in it is, not how difficult it is to revenge or trap. This doesn't address its "issue". Edit: I also would like to see other TC members' opinion about the subject.
  2. Hi I'm looking to sell the following: x13 Santa's Present (2021) x52 Pumpking's Goodie bag (2021) You can reach me out through forum's PMs, Discord (Bertolfoso#0158) or in game mail (IGN: Bertolfoso)
  3. ------------------------------------------ Anyways for my own opinion, I agree that it is too early for this. There has been no time to adapt and see if the pokemon is actually overpowered (in my opinion it isnt). Also for this and future threads I think it would be cool if a poll was added, not to be taken too seriously, but I think it would be still be interesting.
  4. With the latest update, the statistics page was united in one singular column. While this was cool to see all the Pokemon without having to back and forth, and was probably done so that it was easier to implement the search function, sorting by win rate has become kind of useless. This is because winning 1 game with a random pokemon makes it so that when you use the sort feature, it immediately jumps at the top. While it's cool that there are people that believe in Stunfisk's potential in OU, it makes it way harder to compare win rates of OU proper pokemon between themselves, as other random monsters will be mixed together. It comes at the cost of 1 page of statistics, but 1 page of statistics comes at the cost of win rate sorting (more valuable in my humble opinion). Thanks for reading. stunfisk sweep
  5. + around 900 on alt My reaction to the change
  6. I think new legendaries should be usable only if you have donator status. People with donator status should also have a super bike that goes faster. Using your mouse to play pokemmo on pc/laptop should also be a donator status only bonus
  7. I have tested this a bit with Sawwario, and we noticed that Darmanitan-Zen looks to be coded with 30 base HP (maybe accidentally swapped with its Atk?). It stops healing (from Wish or leftovers) at 105 HP, life orb recoil is 10HP (10% of 105HP), substitute takes less than 25% of real HP.

  9. First of all, win rate is not a valid metric to value the balance of any pokemon. Second of all, this is only half a picture, to be fair, you should also look at usage and win rate of Crawdaunt counters (especially prior to March) Now for everyone: How can you say Crawdaunt is healthy and not centralizing, when we had Slowbro, Gastrodon, Vaporeon, Tentacruel drop to NU while UU Feraligatr is on life support? It's clear that its presence has been warping the tier around it. They got completely outclassed by being water resists/immunities that are not a Crawdaunt counter/check.
  10. Do people not see a problem with the movements shifts? The tiers are so unstable, every month there is a completely different UU / NU. Am I the only one that thinks that this is not good/normal?
  11. IGN: Bertolfoso Preferred Tiers: All singles (prefer gen8) Competitive accolades: Won MVP OU UU NU PU ZU and Gen9 last LCPL Discord contact: Bertolfoso#0159 Fluff: i dont play lc im new 😄 Preferred Potential Manager: whoever picks me Least Preferred Potential Manager: the others
  12. Gracideas work only on Shaymin, so you also can't breed/fix IVs for Shedinjas and Unowns. Regarding the main topic, I understand there are perfectionists, but Ditto's IVs (outside of HP) don't matter. Those super niche, almost non existant scenarios won't happen to you
  13. I missed these so much! Welcome back!
  14. Early Happy Birthday, my archnemesis
  15. If we're using this as a place to warn others of bugs and unintended interactions then here's mine: Assurance does not get boosted if the opponent takes damage on switch because of entry hazards.
  16. Boots will, sadly, come fore sure, since gen9 gave everything stealth rocks and spikes which means more ppl will ask for it
  17. Please no more items, if i wanted to play gen9 natdex with only gen5 mons i'd play showdown challanging a friend or something. AV didnt fix the problem it was supposed to fix (serp), and btw, introducing an entire item only for something in ou is so dumb (first of all it doesnt fix the issue, second the item affects other tiers as well). Also please no to heavy duty boots, especially if you want a fix to regen.
  18. Huh, the only TC I saw expressing their opinion was Azphiel who seemed quite convinced on what to do. I was unaware of others' opinion, hence me "bumping" the thread
  19. Yeah. Discussion ended 1 month ago speculating how Crawdaunt would be with Salamence in the tier. Seeing as it's really really unlikely that it ever comes back (if Mence was balanced, anyways) and that people agreed that Crawdaunt is very centralizing (forcing you to run Toxicroak/Poliwrath), I think it would be fair to end this suspect test as soon as possible (I do realize there were holidays so it isn't a full month, but the point still stands).
  20. Watch out, German translation is still in Chinese!
  21. There's some things I liked and some I didn't from this event, but all in all I would say it was a good one. One important piece of feedback I would give is not letting us bring leppas/PP restoring items with us. I saw the PP of the bots and our mons got reduced to base value to not make the runs last too long, but if you let us bring Leppa it's kind of contradicting. It would also make runs less long (people spending more than 10hours on a single run should not be encouraged) and would make strategy matter more over who has more time
  22. I will try to put into words my thought on Ambipom. I think the pro-ban/suspect has failed to bring up one key aspect of why Ambipom is so restrictive both in teambuilding and in battle: yes it does have counters, but it's the Ambipom user that decides what they are, which makes it too much for the tier, in my opinion. The truth is that Ambipom only needs 2 moves, Fake Out and Quick Attack to accomplish its job (revenge kill offensive pokemon/scare them out) which means it can use its remaining 2 moveslots for whatever it wants. Realistically there are not many Pokemon that can fit an offensive team and check. Ones I would consider are: Golem, Escavalier, Magneton, Rotom, Golurk, Froslass, Omastar. There are some more niche picks but I picked these as are the most used as of now. And here is where those 2 remaining moveslots come to make this monkey such a pain: Seed Bomb, Fire Punch, Low Kick, Beat Up all make these checks shaky at best. Stronger normal stab was already mentioned (even if imo it is not really needed), while moves like Pursuit and especially U-turn play on the fact that this pokemon forces switches and have great synergy with Hazards. Moves like Taunt imo are underplayed if the Ambipom user is scared vs fatter matchups. Hyper Offense (and Offense) are gamestyles that heavily depend on momentum and Ambipom, while of course frail, which means it's hard to get in the field, totally switches momentum without really having to think. The fact that pokemon like Linoone, which even with 3 attacks struggles to have all the coverage it wants, have to waste one of their valuable moveslots for something like protect clearly shows how centralizing it is. I've probably forgot to mentions something as I wrote this while being distracted by 1000 things, but these are my thoughts on the monkey. ban pls (or suspect if that will ever be a thing)
