I've just tested this and it definitely was changed. Before the update it was either 30 seconds or 1 minute to respawn, now it is 5 minutes.

I think we need a Shedinja clause or something. Shedinja is already so unbalanced in randoms as you can't prepare for it (keep the pokemon you need to not lose to it), but when things like this can happen, I think it's a problem. No single move can touch Shedinja. None. As soon they showed Shedinja, I lost. In this case not even PP stalling with Curse Lickilicky as they had 2 phasers. I don't know what the solution would be, maybe a complete ban since it has been a problem on multiple occasions.

I want to add that actually frail sweepers suffer even more from a low IV in a stat than other pokemon. This is because the change in % is bigger if the iv is lower in defense in something like Sharpedo than Tyranitar. This can be generalized for every other stat, just tried to stay on the same example. Edit: you can also save money on a "perfect" comp by going 30 iv on the stats you are not putting evs on. This way you get the same stats with cheaper breeders

That person was running Life Orb Sheer Force Conkeldurr. The 10% HP recoil from Life Orb is ignored if the move is affected by Sheer Force. You are probably misremembering something here.

The prize hats are one of the best rewards from PvP, so much so that some people only play PvP to get them. With the cycling of the same hats though, not only they get less "valuable" (less rare, which isn't a problem), but most importantly, they become useless, as they can't be traded nor sold (which is good in my opinion). A solution for the PvP hat situation is to make the prize a shiny variation if the normal hat is already in your bag. For example a Jelly Hat would be the same colours of a shiny Tentacruel. Why would it be good? Easy to make: it's basically a palette swap; Another reason to make people play PvP, making the ladders more alive; To flex on the noobz. I basically see this as a very easy to make and implement way to improve PvP, even if only by a little bit.
