    Why would we stop updating? Now what the update includes is most likely not BW2 for awhile as we have other aspirations that Kyu has detailed out in the past.

    This wasn't really addressed to me, but I would like to chime in...

    The system behind how berries work is intially simple but all of the combinations and how to get more seeds etc can be overwhelming to keep track of and is unrealistic to memorize more than the core set of berries you would need's combos.

    Perhaps you could add a "BerryDex" or something of the like where upon successfully growing a berry yourself you gain the info on:
    What combination of seeds can produce it What seeds you will get from that berry (in ranges, e.g. 2-5 dry seeds or 1 Very Dry Seed) etc What type of watering it likes (Dry? Average? Moist? Soaking?) How long does it take to mature How long it can go unattended for without consequences That would probably be a lot of work for this, and we do have things on the forums, but not everyone uses the forums and it can be a bit of a pain to try and find the berry growing guides again and again each time you wanna grow something.

    I personally as a player also feel that you should be rewarded for better care rather than punished for being unable to consistently keep it watered, and thus it just entirely dies.
    Even if the rewards are pretty minimal I think we should get SOMETHING out of planting the berries either way, even if it's 1-2 berries or something it still means we can plant and forget about it without getting angry with ourselves.
     
    TL;DR
    A in-game look up for Berry growing info would be a god-send.
    Have a low baseline reward for berries that is added to if you give better treatment instead of high baseline where you remove rewards from for poor treatment.

    My info on berries might be quite outdated so if I had a wrong pressumption about how something worked please do correct me, I literally never touch the stuff because Im just afraid that in 6 hours or something I won't remember to come online and my tree will die and wow look at that I wasted resources and got nothing and am now sad.

    need to make some small settings first.

    We're pretty sure OSX's OpenGL library is rendering 3d models in software mode for some reason. It's on our list of things to look into more, but I don't have too much faith it's something we will be able to resolve.

    Since we have a new meta with more offensive and defensive threats I think we should add damage percentages (similar to showdown). Would be easier to see how much a move does each turn, works on both ends. Ik we can see health % and it definitely helps, but imo only beneficial to see if a move would OHKO or not, but not to see 3hkos, 2hkos, etc etc. Also instead of adding it in another line during a battle, you could add it in that battle chat instead and would utilize that function better

    brings it to 71%, but lefties restores 6%, so it goes to 77%.

    @Sezh any chance we can see this updated? This is by far my favorite theme and currently we are unable to use it because with the unova update we can't see what we're typing and the pokemon summary window is slightly off. Other than those two, everything is usable. I would absolutely love to continue using this theme and I know plenty of other players who would too.

    I am all for the silence of Bianca because she is like the little sister that keeps hanging on you every day. Cheren is a lot more reasonable to deal with. All he wants are battles, but Bianca wants you and she is not afraid to let you know that. She reminds me of Rui from the Pokemon Colosseum series except Bianca is more tolerable, Rui keeps blocking you when she has the opportunity to do so.

    So, for the last 2 hours invested into Unova region, 4 of them was scrolling Bianca´s bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla.
    With this in mind, I have been gathering information all around, just to find out Bianca likes to stroll around route 3 at around 3 PM.
    Petition to prepare an ambush to her so she stops talking at once.

    Typically, HAs would be gated behind some form of meta challenge within the instance, so I will try to make sure it's clear whether a specific wild encounter has an HA.
     
    Currently it's undecided how IVs will be handled with HA breeding, but because there is intended to be a high amount of effort required to obtain them in the first place, we'll be trying to be as generous as is reasonable with their breeding. I'll know more once we discuss it; the rewards system is still something which needs fleshed out.

    Hidden Abilities are currently being reserved for Legendary Dungeons, the first of which we'll be trying to get out within the next "3-4" months™. They will not be available in regular overworld encounters.
     
    We are having a lot of problems due to the new engine's compatibility on specific hardware, and some critical (backend) things which were missed during development. Sorry.

    We're not sure, sorry. We're currently prioritizing functionality regressions (Client crashes/GUI errors, NPCs missing from Unova which were present in Kanto and provided extra functionality, etc.) as well as the storyline's difficulty curve and the balancing of overworld items.
     
    The two things mentioned (important abilities / move tutors) are on the high priority list for post-release, but I don't have a concrete time on them. Typically, after big patches like this, we try to push out updates every 3-5 days until things are acceptable, so it should be sooner than later.

    I suppose he has a point. It just goes from 'literally zero data' to 'absolutely everything'.
    There's almost no difference between 'seen' and 'unseen' aside the sprite.
    A minimal amount of data despite uncaught wouldn't be bad. At least enough for 'how do i go about catching this thing'

    i want to request to get the summary page fully visible on the pokedex for all pokemon you seen but did not catch yet
     
    why?
    Because first of all, it would save me alot of googling.
    The pokedex is suppose to be my tool for this kind of stuff, whenever ash saw one he never seen he just flipped out his dex and got all the info he needed from it ( type , and description text) to know how to deal with it. i never had problems with it this in kanto/hoenn because i simply know them all in the back of my head, and in unova i found myself googling alot or visiting serebii to check simple stuff like evolution level, or its typing i truly believe this change would be alot more userfriendly. i hope im not alone in this 0.0

    As many of you probably know by now, with the recent update there was an additional prompt added to press A when Sweet Scenting. My suggestion is simple and easy to implement: Please return sweet scenting to how it was before the unova update. It may be a small change and it may not even be noticeable to some, but to those who EV train, EXP farm, or hunt shinies frequently, it's not only annoying but also slightly more time consuming.  Previously I was able to hunt with just my mouse, but now I need to use two hands just to summon one horde. It would be one thing if there was a way to hotkey using sweet scent (perhaps a refillable ocarina or something similar), so it could all be on keyboard, but since there is not it requires using both mouse and keyboard. This suggestion would make EV'ing pokemon, hunting shinies, horde farming for items, and Leveling pokemon easier and horde grinding for any reason slightly less of a pain in the butt. Below are some examples of before and after the update for clarification:
     
    How it was before (and what this post is suggesting):
    -Press "Use Sweet Scent"
    -Pablo used Sweet Scent!
    -A Wild Horde Appeared! (automatically)
    -Fight/Bag/Pokemon/Run
     
    How it is now:
    -Press "Use Sweet Scent"
    -Pablo used Sweet Scent!
    -(nothing happens until you press A) *Press A*
    -A Wild Horde Appeared!
    -Fight/Bag/Pokemon/Run
     
    Thoughts on this or possibly an explanation for why this was added recently are all welcome.

    Part 2: Track IDs
    Updated list compiled by @budadeth and @cyanfire 
     
    All you gotta do is name the music file after the track ID that it's supposed to replace. (example: vermillion city is 313, so if you want to have All Star by smash Mouth play in verm, you have to name it 313.mp3)
    And then drop it in the folder of its corresponding region.
     
    If an ID is missing from this list, it is also possible to type the command /bgm while in the game, to get the ID of the track currently playing.
    If you do this, please post in this thread so the missing ID can be documented.
     
    Login Screen (goes in the "2" folder with unova music)
     
    0 - Kanto IDs:
    1 - Hoenn IDs:
    3 - Sinnoh IDs:
    2 - Unova IDs:
    4 - Johto IDs:
     
    Part 3: Loops
     
    If you paste in a track, it will just play from beginning to end and then start over.
    If you want to say, play the intro of the battle theme, and then loop from after the intro onwards, you'll need these meta messages.
    However, they currently only work with MIDI files.
    There's already a very detailed guide on how to accomplish this, so I will just share it here.
