hmm i asked for it cuz its not official tier anymore its pretty dead no guides etc if your the only player in your country that play lc you kinda fucked since you forced to play only lc i can imagine the low qaulity matches

What are the reasons behind LC cant be manager choice ? (middle agreement between staying and leaving)

most teams dont even have 1 lc player imagine having 2 good players bigger teams take advantage from that

smaller countries don't have 2 LC Players, some big countries like Brazil have none

My point was removing LC as mandatory tier but keeping it as choice (if format has choice)

Manager choice is a bad format for WC, shouldn't be an option. As for LC, it has even less widespread players than showdown players probably, so all the no votes on showdown and yes votes on lc I don't understand.

absolute no to showdown

no to "manager's" choice (remember we will have captains not managers)

mild yes to LC but idk how the situation on LC scene looks like as I have never played it. I would first open the signups and decide if LC will stay after seeing amount of signups for it

The goal of this kind of events is to try new things , for exemple last wc i was forced to play UU for my team , and i did win , i built teams, bred lot of UU comps , and won my game , poseidon played dubs while he dont do it , and he won his games , a player who doesnt play X tier doesnt mean he cant do it , for me all tiers are okay since you have a brain to think , fingers to play , and a bit of time to try new things

they were titled "manager's" in the poll for the sake of understanding based on previous events, but ofc we'll have captains choose the extra tier should that be what the public wants. In the case that it gets voted through, doubles and LC will not be options, so captains will be choosing from ou/uu/nu. I agree with the LC point as well, we can revisit this closer to the end of signups.

The point of an expanded format is to try to discourage countries from splitting, which would be a lot more likely in a 5 tier format as opposed to 7+. Seems to make more sense to combine smaller countries than to split bigger countries up, but that's definitely a decision to be made later on after gauging signups. And I can pretty confidently say that there are more mmo players that are adequate at LC than VGC2021 (the current leading sd tier).
