How to make people more aware of ranked matchmaking.

I feel like a large portion of competitive players are not even aware when ranked matchmaking is enabled and I feel like this would make it more clear to people and I definitely think we'd get more people playing matchmaking. Something needs to happen because currently UU and NU are struggling, I tend to only get 1 game in each session whilst in the matchmaking queue for the rest of it.

 

In the top left corner you can see "OU - UU - NU", NU is lit up to tell the players NU ranked matchmaking is currently enabled. It doesn't look too pretty, maybe you can make it look better.

 

Would also be nice to have the tier blinking for say 10 seconds when it's enabled, like so.

That would be the easiest way to go about it, but people that log on after the message had been sent out would miss it. A small problem that doesn't really matter too much, but a problem nonetheless.

I don't know about you guys, but typically I don't even read the system messages, and yeh I'm a lot of the time half afk anyways, so it would be nice to have an icon that stays up all the time.

Sadly I'm not into competitive battling yet, but I think this is a realistic update and I feel bad for all you guys who spend so much time waiting on just a single battle.

One last-ditch effort to try get matchmaking working because NU is actually fun these days. Fuck UU tho.
