Hi Bills, thank you very much for your work!
Could you please help me with these questions?
1. How to remove “The foe's X's Ability was suppressed!" which activates for each mons?
I would like to speed up gyms run.
2. How to replace/remove the line "The foe's X's Special Attack fell!" by "X's SpeA -1"?
I've seen the lines but I'm not sure how to edit them correctly.
3. How to reduce the size of these windows (PC, ferry, breeder, daycare, Pokémon menu...) to the original one?
SpoilerThanks!

Not being able to disable battle animations to make PvM fights faster is criminal.

Since PokeMMO does not own any copyrighted materials, it is unlikely that your progress will be wiped out. This element alone is enough to justify the system and we are grateful for this brilliant idea which allows the game its longevity.

Either an icon of the item, or in the information displayed when hovering over the mon.
Thank you.

Let's face it guys, in the end raids are still just an AI Pokémon match wich just isn't that hard. Everyone with like 3 braincells should be able to do them. You don't even need comps for that.
While the addition of matchmaking is fine for me (haven't used it tho) our player base should maybe consider to socialize and make friends to play the raids and start communicating before playing the raid, we are still playing a mmo.
Yes, a minimum of interaction between players should be mandatory to form a team before starting a raid. In my opinion, the current matchmaking system creates a situation close to a fight against an AI with a group of more or less effective bots as allies. If you have ideas for improvements, do not hesitate to share them on this page.

The idea behind implementing an ELO and Winrate system was to reduce AFK and random play, but it doesn't seem to be suitable for this format indeed. Hopefully the developers come up with something effective.

I have no interest in shinies, but I feel like if they added a recurring shiny boost during events it would devalue shinies even more.
-
Keep in mind that we have the collective intelligence of several thousand players against a small team of developers. The aim of not revealing mechanics is to maintain a certain level of difficulty before an optimal strategy is found by players and an update is necessary.
What you say is very relevant regarding the rewards obtained during events like the Wishing Stone or the Tablets. -

Don't worry, the suggestions are read by the developers. They can choose not to add them or to do so but it will take more or less time. Interesting suggestion.

This would mean that low win%/"elo" players would get matched with other low win% players, probably lowering their elo even more.
While cool, i dont think system like elo can be applied to raids
Yes, you are right, I hadn't thought about this negative point.
Perhaps a leaderboard similar to the Abundant Shrine event could be interesting as it would provide an additional end-game goal. However, Raids would need to be updated regularly to keep them competitive, which would surely be too much work for the developers.

I would like to start with a suggestion regarding the Matchmaking system.
What do you think about implementing an ELO and Winrate system similar to that of PvP?
The positive:
- Each player will have to find out a minimum about the specifics of the raid and think about their team if they do not want to see their score impacted
- This would reduce the chances of encountering uninvolved players who disconnect halfway or don't participate in implementing a strategy
- This would give players an extra reason to beat a difficult Raid with the implementation of a leaderboard
- Solo players could therefore carry out a Raid with players with similar ELO and they could queue up in Ranked or Casual
The negative:
- It seems difficult to judge the performance of each player within a team
- This system could undoubtedly demotivate certain players to attempt the raid

Hello everyone,
I'm creating this topic because I think it would be beneficial to collect player feedback on the new Raid feature now available.
First of all, I would like to thank the developer team on behalf of the PokeMMO community.
The Raid feature has been very interesting so far and it opens the door to new opportunities for teamwork, earning rewards as well as a new market for items and high level Pokémon.
This topic aims to collect community feedback on the Raid and Matchmaking system in order to help the developer team adjust this long-awaited feature over time.
Share your thoughts now!
Thanks for reading.Topics posted by players previously to this thread (contains developer comments*).

Today, after two failed attempts with players recruited via the Global chat, I tried the Matchmaking system for the Excadrill raid.
The interface is well thought out, easy to use and the link is made very quickly. Great work from the developers! Thank you!
Concerning the attitude of the players, on two attempts, one with English players and the other with Chinese players, I would say that the CN players are more efficient. If communication was non-existent with the EN team, the CN team nevertheless responded!
The sample of my experience being too small to make an objective judgment, I however think that in the future and with the increase in the difficulty of raids, building a solid team using the Global chat or the Matchmaking system might be hazardous.
It seems wise to take advantage of this testing period to fill your Friends list with players who have made the effort to learn about an effective team before joining a raid!

I get what are you saying but the fact that the game doesn't make anything for players going afk and make you throw a run just because someone decided to go afk and get people stuck in the "waiting for other players", anyways thanks for the tip i will try it
Yes, this is indeed a problem that needs to be resolved. Hopefully the raid functionality, still in the testing period, will have an effective deterrent system to limit these behaviors when it is finally released.

i have to rely on the matchmaking system.
I have good news for you: You absolutely don't need the matchmaking system, teammates or friends to raid!
I've done all my raids with strangers without using the automatic system once. How? Send a message in the Global chat “LF Raid (Tauros) 1/4 – Location […]” and wait for a response. I was able to complete the link in less than 5 minutes and out of the 10 raids I only had two failures because we had terrible RNG. I think this method is much superior because the recruited players are online and use chat so communication is present. And it's also, in my opinion, a lot more fun than relying on random pairings.
I think that the automatic system, even if it seems less restrictive at first glance, is not interesting because it exposes you to players who are not motivated or queue up away from their keyboard.Good luck!

As a player who didn't get the Wishing Stone and Tablets because the reward was unknown, I can understand the disappointment of players who made the effort.
For me, the main problem here is not a question of “compensation” but rather a question of trust. Players who have invested hours into a task with high hopes for the reward given the difficulty of it should be given a little more consideration and showing appreciation for their efforts is important in my opinion if one wishes to keep their trust.
I don't blame the developers because we are all grateful that this game exists and is very accessible to anyone with a cell phone. However, I think we can all agree that quests with unknown rewards are a dangerous bet in this game that is likely to disappoint many. -
