This mod file doesn't seem to actually be a zip. PokeMMO doesn't recognize it, and I can't open it as an archive, either.

It is a standard zip file and has the extension edited to .mod as per the recommended method of builing mod archives. I download and test each revision myself so I can confirm that it does work and opens perfectly fine in any standard zipping tool (WinZip, WinRar, 7Zip..).

I would recommend redownloading the file and rather than using the import button, use the "open mod folder" button and copy the fresh download into that. Then restart the client, enable the mod, and you're golden.

EDIT: This is from a fresh download just a few moments ago:

Overworld abilities does not have effect when the lead pokemon is fainted, on the other hand you can repel trick with a fainted lead.

No, repel trick work and u can see on that screenshoot.

I could have sworn the fainted lead repel trick method was removed in an update a while ago. TIL.

What does that do that's so special?

Absolutely nothing. The lead mon has to be conscious for repel or overworld effect to work. In this case it's probably for Illuminate or a repel trick but neither will work whilst it's fainted (assuming it wasn't fainted during the battle).

  4. I know most people don't bother to read the EULA or Code of Conduct when they sign up to a game or service, but it's clear as day in the Code of Conduct that the discussed behaviour is considered scamming.

I absolutely agree that the buyer is responsible for what they purchase to a degree, but if it weren't for people intentionally attempting to deceive other players with mispriced items - whether that's taking advantage of snipers who are trying to catch a bargain before anyone else or the new and naïve players who don't know any better - there wouldn't be an issue that required an intervention as is happening at the moment.

  5. This is a Pokémon Cries replacement mod, utilising cries extracted directly from Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, X, and Y.

    Notable features:

All sound files have been normalised

All sound files have been adjusted for a better experience with both desktop speakers or headphones

    Android:

    Currently incompatible/untested with Android

please someone make this typhlosion sprite into HD version.. because current sprite its soo dumb

    front shiny

    back

    back shiny

The thing is, none of the Cynda line canonically have their flames ignited unless they're actually attacking and as such the source for the sprites doesn't have it either except on one short animation that would look awful continuously repeating.

Hey, I really appreciate your work! It is quite amazing to have all these sprites, especially the backsprites as well.

I have two questions about it:

    1) Is there a resource on how to extract such sprites, so that someone could contribute? I would be very interested in that.

    2) I noticed that certain sprites have a lot of empty space in them:

Is there a reason for it and a way to remove them? I'm thinking about use-cases in other areas and there this empty space is really annoying.

This is because of the way the current sprite system works. The empty space is there so as to center the GIF file so that the Pokémon appears to be on the ground, rather than floating or clipping through it.

And other counters think something like adding a pokemon sprite on ur screen is an improvement. You're doing god's work son, keep it up. Also, whoever suggested the "embedded version" must be a genius <_>

Imagine being so salty that you shit on other peoples work instead of just being happy people are trying to improve the PokeMMO experience and their own skillsets at the same time.

EDIT: On a more positive note, the counter looks amazing so far! I'm excited to give it a try once it's released!
