Pretty sure its mostly because gengars levitate was removed by pokemon themselves, after gen 5. It wasnt a pokemmo decision, it was a decision made by the game makers, because levitate gengar is simply too OP. When we adapted to later gen battle mechanics, properly implementing them means we need to adjust to their changes. Im not saying i wouldnt use it if it did come back....it was great when he had it back in 2019, and maybe when we get HA blaziken and slowbro, we can have levitate gengar to help "level the playing field" but....idk....tough to see that happening

I too would definitely appreciate this. I believe it should be an effective+simple fix. A "low hanging fruit" so to speak. And long awaited by many

In PvE, dragontail wont end the battle unless youre a lower level than it. So power levelling to anything above its spawn level, will work.
Alternatively, you can use a smeargle with the moves imprison, dragon tail, sweet scent and covet. Or do spore and covet and bring an additional sweet scenter. I recommend covet because with technician, its a decent single targeting attack move with stab (same type attack bonus) and has high PP to help make up for its ability to hit like a wet noodle in most cases

Our limit point being, the easy solution is pvp ban. The real problem with PvE. Retire to showdown or come to terms with our limitations and work around it. Zekrom/reshiram/groudon/kyogre. Its all the same. Its PvE thats the concern, and they deal with that in tier council chat combined with @Rache final say. Adapt or move on. Its very simple

There definitely is some rule at play here. I cannot remember the specifics for the life of me. But....i do know of an expert.
@Rache when you have the time, can you elaborate on this? ♡

I won't say little community... but one thing that bothers me a lot is the forums. I feel like the amount of players who visit the forums are too low. Basically just us regulars hanging around here. Would have liked if a lot more players can bring their input on forums.
Theres definitely a lot of repeat offenders lol guilty as charged. For some reason i check in with the forum more often than i check in with my wife 🤣🤣 while i agree more people should use the forums...im fearful at the same time that it will just bring higher levels of crying and complaining than we already see. Not sure why...but somewhere between "player support ticket" and "forum post", people tend to get lost lol

Agreed. This is the internet. There are digital warriors everywhere. If you take every word at face value and hold onto it...youre gonna have a rough time. Keep happy and chive on. Dont let sore losers spoil your time with us. Enjoy the other side of the community. Theres plenty of lovers here

I believe it's more effective to focus on educating players rather than silencing them. Rather than implementing a mute function, why not encourage a message prompt suggesting players express gratitude to their opponent for the battle, promoting respect and sportsmanship?
This world is the exact opposite of your expectations. Thats called a dream. And dream on indeed. Its legitimately impossible to expect everyone to agree with "the way". Nice try though. Im sure the staff is overwhelmed with pleasure on your response. Lets all now join hands and sing kumbaya

Why
The higher they get above level cap, the less regions they can be purchased for as a "help me im stuck" purchase for many noobs.
Or at least thats my impression. I could be wrong, but ive been in that scenario when breeding "storyline savers" and i over level them just zoning out on the EV training 🤣🤣
Rebreed or restart lol

A little review from a new user

I see what youre saying, however the thing that makes this game shine over all the others, is exactly what the initial complaint is about. It absolutely is "geared" towards competitive play/team building and rebuilding. The level caps are put in place intentionally, so you cant just overlevel a magikarp and flail your way through whats supposed to be the most challenging portion of the game. Pokemmo is a low key teaching tool, if you let it be one. And if you are stuck and interested in learning new strategies, theres a great community of players willing to give advice. That advice doesnt necessarily have to involve changing your team. Maybe it means swapping some moves, and leading with a different pokemon. Its a great game, and while it is challenging, the challenge is there intentionally. I hope you dont give up ♡ keep trying and attempt to recognize patterns in the AI.
A couple good items to abuse are energy roots (+200 HP) and Revival herbs (legit a revive) and are much cheaper than potions and actual revives
