Yeah, I only remember when Nian enraged, we have to defeat them to get the double reward but.. we cannot continue for another wave because of that. Why I don't remember how to trigger this 🫠.

Hi anyone know how to make the nian enraged? Last year event If I remember correctly, when nian enraged, we got double reward. Ex: 4 lucky red envelope become 8 lucky red envelope. Anyhow to trigger this? Thankyou!

I also can't wait for the update even though I only have one holiday at my place. I don't mean to compare but at the end, I think whenever the event starts, it's about being able/unable to participate in the event or grinding effectively/ineffectively at the time. If you're able to participate/ grinding effectively then its cool.. but if you're unable to participate/ grinding ineffectively, its sad but better to move on.. We cannot avoid the unxepected incident (as kyu said).

I'm not sure about the system but I think.. at the battle chat you can see "The chillan berry weaken the damage...". So the Ratticate alr consumed the berry. Thats why you don't get the item after catching it. CMIIW

Wasn't there a confirmation that the anniversary event MAY be held between Halloween and Christmas event? So if you're talking about delayed events since June, you're right, but that's not the context. Apart from that, we cannot say that this event has been delayed again when the christmas/holiday event itself has not started. I think we can discuss about this event again if there is no confirmation, at least until the end of December (the usual date of christmas/ holiday event). Lastly I just want to say that: just guessing and can be misleading. But This: Maybe can be discussed (the feature, the reward, vanity, etc). I don't mean to be rude, but I think you should know how differentiate between what can be discussed and whats just flooding, spreading misinformation, and/or spam.

Nyeah, isn't alpha has been introduced since last year? They probably farming a lot since last year.

True, still figuring out how to counter this. I tried to use uproar and worry seed but this is just triggering the pumpking to use spirited away. My friend have an idea to use sand attack to lower the accuracy of fever dream but can't confirm the effectiveness of sand attack right now.

I really enjoy this event. I found that there is lot RNG that actually can be countered while the rest unfortunately brings us to defeat. Some people may disagree with the impossible RNG but I personally think that this what keep the pumpking hardmode is hard. even though I've run this event smoothly so far, it can't be helped that the RNG sometimes punishes me heavily and forced me to defeat (like on the picture attached). Ofcourse I'm very mad but what can I do is move on and learn what's my mistakes.

Easy mode? I simply just use broom cookie on the first turn 🫨

I'm still figuring out what best for hardmode. My best run so far with 90%+ wr is tropious with HA ability (harvest) holding lum berry under the sun (100% chance to harvest). This will decrease the probability (not prevent) of pumpking using spirited away (min requirement: 2 active pokemons asleep on the battle field). Tropious also has great coverage move: tailwind, wide guard, and safeguard which really helpful on the early phase. The weakness of this strategy is that I need 5-6 damaging pokemon so I can't farm particles on some random pokemon(s). Yes, this is how to be a clown by learning ( I believe someone said so). Hope someone that still struggling with the RNG have their fight going well. *note based on my experience, pumpking has maximum damage cap per one damaging move which is 28,9% (cmiiw)

Halloween event? For phase 1 and 2 iirc it is from terrakion,virizion, cobalion battle soundtrack (cmiiw). For phase 3 sorry I didn't know.

I mean, previous year was also RNG based. The best way to deal with RNG situation is by learning. For example, based on my experience: -Pumpking always soul drain when my team was low HP. What should I do? easy, keep our team's HP as high as possible. -Pumpthief happen to outspeed my team on turn 3. How to prevent this? Set up tailwind on turn 2. We can't expect the strategy is the same as the previous year. Even though I agree that this boss is hard, this is still day 2 of the event and we still have a lot of time to learn what should we do to increase the probability to win the fight. My strategy for this halloween event pretty much same as the previous year, but this year a bit harder. Idk if this only me, but I feel like pumpthief and lil pump appearance rate on this event pretty high compared to the previous year. These 2 that makes me a little bit overwhelmed. anyway goodluck for everyone

I think the maintenance will be started around 1 hour from now (if not delayed). If I remember correctly, last Halloween maintenance started at 12.00 p.m (in my country) or UTC at 05.00 a.m.

The first phase of the legendary beast shiny hunt is finally over (Aug - October 2023). I found 4 shinnies along the journey but no shiny legendary yet! See you on the next phase :D.
