  1. This has happened because of the huge popularity of a really well designed vanity item, (if you compare the demand to the recent eyeball masks and snowglobe hat). I think there'll be a short-term drop in price as some players will likely sell the item near the end of the event if they need cash, but it looks like this vanity will definitely increase significantly - it'll probably take a few weeks/months though IMO.
  2. There is literally no point in profiting from items in the Pokemart, the minor exceptions were the Rocket Uniform and a few TMs, which would only be around $3,000-5,000 profit (you also need to include the listing fee) - you would make more money battling 2 NPCs without an amulet coin. If people still want to buy these items (e.g. TMs) but can't access them via the Marts, then they can still buy them from GTL, just not for ridiculous prices. If you want to make money but can't get into the shiny/vanity market (as prices are understandably ridiculous), you'd be better off doing NPC/Gym re-battles. Honestly, there isn't an issue in this change, there are several guides to help with making money too.
  3. Playing Team Geschmacksverkalkung in 20-30 minutes
  4. I agree with Quakkz - this will also stop people abusing vanity items from the Pokemart (e.g. Teddy ears) The economy won't be affected by this at all, the economy is based around shinies, breeds and rare/event based vanity items - if you relied on Pokemart items for profit, that's really bad lol.
  5. It's a dungeon like event similar to the Christmas one. You and your team choose 3 Pokemon - each Pokemon will have a fixed moveset (from what I'm aware) Like the Christmas event, you have to battle Pokemon in 'swarms', these usually appear in pairs. The more Pokemon you kill, the more swarms are cleared. You can change your Pokemon from a selected list during the swarms by going to the temple near the top of the dungeon. After a few swarms (not sure on the exact number) there's the boss you can battle, (fire type if I recall). After the boss the swarms get harder as the Pokemon call for help, similar to the elfbots. Regarding prizes, it wouldn't surprise me - after you beat the boss once you receive 8 red envelopes and 1 lucky red envelope (around 300 - 350k right now) Overall it should take around an hour for each run. Hope this helps.
  6. Can't have an event without a server crash :D (I have a feeling GTL was overloaded)
  7. The colours are to let people know which type of vanities the items are. For example, Seasonal items will almost guarantee to return in Halloween, Christmas, etc. Event only items can return for that specific event, but it's unlikely to. Limited items are items which will never make a return to the game again. People were selling items from the Poke Mart for profit (e.g. Teddy ears) - this is the only change which was made.
  8. Prices are unstable for these vanities but - Knight Helmet - I see someone offering 500m for one. Blue/Orange Skull Mask - I think they're between 200 - 300m.
  9. This is exactly the type of theme / GUI I'm looking for. Really great job man, can't wait for you to get it finished - it'll be worth the wait for sure :)
  10. I think option B works better depending on timezone / weekdays for some teams and players, would the first 8 spots go to the quarter-finalists of the previous TT?
  11. This is an interesting idea which I support as it will help to solve the registration issue. Could you please confirm, the one match would be the winner against one of the 32 teams chosen at random?
  12. Good OT, would highly recommend
  13. This is the problem with the shiny market nowadays compared to what it was like back in 2014-2016, the Chinese community now controls the market and does not reflect the recommended price. They have the resources and people to purchase the most expensive shinies and manipulate any price, especially if there are only 1-2 shinies available in the server, like in this case. However in my post above I gave the examples of Shroomish and Zoura spawning into the game more frequently, making it harder for the price to be manipulated as more people are selling / want the cash, hence the price and demand will inevitably drop. With these shinies, it's best to avoid buying it unless you're absolutely desperate and aren't intending to re-sell. As a separate example, I've seen Skeleton Costumes listed on GTL for 90m and then the next day being re-listed for 60m. Because these vanities and in this case shinies are so rare/hard to find, it's impossible to put a set value, however you can only decide on what the majority of the market is willing to pay for it. I understand I went in depth and may have backtracked slightly, but thought I'd share a thorough analysis on these type of shinies and why it's best to avoid buying them.
  14. Yep I think this is the first one on the server so the owner can control the price - although demand, rarity and IVs are a factor. PERSONALLY I wouldn't pay more than 10m. The reason this shiny is rare is because the spot isn't highly hunted, shinies which were rare but recently had a lot more appear in the market, (e.g. Shroomish and Zoura) has caused the demand and price to drop quite quickly - and sadly this doesn't seem like a shiny which would be highly sought after. People will most likely pay a lot higher than my value stated, but I can't see this being desirable.
  15. Sorry this has now been sold. Please lock.
  16. Ghost Costume 2015, Scythe (2015 or 2016), Candy Cane (2015 or 2016)
  17. This has derailed from what my original complaint was. The rules were changed without notice to enable sign ups to be from only 1 hour to 1 hour before the tournament. This was open to abuse as you can just edit any players you want without anyone knowing with all the pages in this thread. The other issue was allowing players from non-registered teams to join teams that are registered, which is again open to abuse as I explained. There was no particular reason to disqualify SIA, it was just to ensure that teams aren't sneaky with their team lineup just for TT - otherwise we may as well all join a potentially winning team just for our share of glory. The number of teams signing up was an original issue, but I do agree this was influenced by countries being under lockdown, however I still don't see the issue with expanding the bracket and/or having a mini play off for a few spots between teams in reserves. The prize is a separate issue but shouldn't be prioritised right now IMO. The point is that the registration rules were changed without notice to the community, as my point states above.
