It's a traditional festival in which trainers from all around get together to celebrate, in hopes of driving away the winter faster. Within this festival. the most popular attraction is the Fishing Competition. It's so huge, the rest of the festival is often overlooked. This year, they've got high-quality judges with near-perfect standards. They look for true beauty rather than just strength. Well, so are the rumors. Most people simply cannot understand their unconventional preferences and even say... They've got some odd taste. The stats of the Pokémon. (atk + def + spatk + spdef + speed) 16 points if the Defense IV is odd, 0 otherwise. 8 points if the Attack IV is odd, 0 otherwise. 4 points if the Special Attack IV is odd, 0 otherwise. 2 points if the Special Defense IV is odd, 0 otherwise. 1 point if the Speed IV is odd, 0 otherwise. Note: IVs will not be averaged. Only the higher IV of the displayed range is taken into account. Registration Rules: Only one username per account/IP No test posting. (This rule applies to all sections. Anyone violating this rule will be barred from participation.) Registration opens on Monday January 12th, 4PM EST Registration closes 15 minutes before the start of the event (Jan 14th, 3:45 PM EST). Rules: In order to participate, you must be registered. Pokemon must be of the player's OT. Pokemon must have 0 EVs and 0 EXP. Pokemon must have been caught within the contest time limit. Pokemon must be level 15 or above. Pokemon must be caught in Vermillion City. Only one submission per player. No alt characters allowed. In the event of a tie, the winner is determined by the earliest catch time. Submission Process: Whisper your assigned staff member with your entry. You are free to fish and catch pokemon until the event ends (5PM EST). Submissions will be accepted until 15 minutes past that mark (5:15PM EST). Winners will be announced shortly afterwards. Eligible pokemon: Horsea, Krabby, Shellder, Staryu, Psyduck, Slowpoke, Corsola. (Anything caught in Vermillion city with the Super Rod, excluding Gyarados).
