Sometimes I just tell people to imagine a dice with 30,000 sides/options instead of the usual 6-side dice. Each time you get a Pokémon encounter, you roll the 30,000-sided dice and hope to land on the "shiny" number. Your chances do not increase hitting this number no matter how many times you try.
But the chances of getting the "shiny" number in 30,000 attempts is pretty decent. Keep hunting and you will get it eventually. Best of luck. 🙂

Yes, a season is 3 months and they are planned to start and end with the four quarters of a year. The current season will end on 31st December 00:00 UTC, followed by start of a new PvP season with stat reset.

There will always be different groups of people with opposite opinions whom are coming forward in different moments to express their opinion.
It's a classic mistake to assume the community (also in other games) is one-sided as it can just be different people expressing their opinion. ^^
But yeah... Too much complaining in general - we are top tier at it. 🙂

I know it was addressed and the team I am using like last year (Aero, Krook, Honch and Ttar) is definitely easier now. RNG was a bigger factor for sure but it was still very beatable with the correct item usage. Ofc rng could still be pain, but I wouldn't call it absurdly hard with this team.

Tough! I hope you will have better luck with Unova region. Make sure to have mons that have super effective moves against your opponents. STAB bonus (using moves by Pokémon that are of same typing (for example Alakazam using Psychic)) will also help you. It never hurts to have an ice-type Pokémon in your team to deal with potential strong Dragon opponents, while it is also super effective against grass, ground and flying type mons.

Did you by any chance have your Pokémon at level cap or at least close to it? Underleveled mons can make it more difficult.

No need to bully by calling him insane. I agree it's a bit too much sometimes with the updates and stuff, but we honestly can't force anyone to type in a certain way, unless you are his English teacher - if that so, drop him a grade instead of correcting him on the forums. 🙂 Cheers.
